Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

THE HERE AND NOWALPHA OF GLORALL
Elohim

Return to Lunar Children
Hero of Legend

To Arturio, this male might seem a bit odd. No, perhaps more focused elsewhere than here. He inclined his head politely when Elohim gave his name. Of course, hardly a jailer, but Arturio technically did not 'belong' here, so he was somewhat at his mercy. He wondered what might be playing through his head. There was definitely something turning the wheels in the other male's head, though the white male had no idea what.

All the same, Art listened. Glorall. The name echoed in his head. It was certainly different from what he knew. Then again, he grew up in a place that literally called things what they looked like. He nodded all the same, though his brows furrowed slightly at Elohim's grin. It was a strange action accompanied by a very real statement of fact. Nari could not tell him, and well only in so many words when she could. It was indeed a fact he knew so little about the place other than the familiarity of the land to his old pack.

"I rather like the scenery, so it wouldn't be so bad to stay..." He paused, considering Elohim's words again. "Secretive..." Art said, if only based on what little he knew of Nari and only just meeting Elohim. "More to it then that though. Your question reveals at least that much," he continued, "I don't know enough of the wolves here to really know what think of this place." Was the darker brute's question meant to deter him from wanting to stay? Without a pack, Art did feel like something was missing, and with Nari as his imprint, being in Glorall felt right, even if there was a chance at this being the wrong move for him. "Given a choice, I'd stay, regardless of the sort of place this was . I am not so close minded that I cannot adapt," he said finally, "Or do you think, even with that in mind, this place would swallow me alive? It hasn't yet." There were certainly things Elohim knew that he didn't, and there was little to deter Arturio when he knew what he wanted.
