The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

" no happy endings "

{ i am cynbel } - { i was an alpha of a land far away } - { i have a home no longer }

Every time he thought about the she-wolf his heart would race. His mind would get fuzzy, his head would spin, his stomach would get jittery. Nimueh had always held that place in his heart, a friend.. maybe a future lover. Not now, however. Maybe never. Cynbel had a feeling deep down they would never be what they would be what they used to be. She didn't even want him in her life. He could understand that. The king could find a new mate, new friends. He wouldn't mind doing that. He just wanted to resolve this damn problem. The problem was their trust. She'd very clearly stated she would never trust him again. Nor would she ever allow him into her precious little life. His wondering was about what she was doing in that pack. Flirting? Mating? Did she even have any heirs yet? All he knew is that she was the Queen of Crith Thalmhainn. Who knew what else she'd been up to these days. The Nimueh that he knew back in his old pack was flirty, funny, adorable. He trusted her, he loved her. She was his best friend. He had been her first friend, the one she trusted. When he broke her trust, she hated him.

Now they both resided in Blossom forest. They both thrived and lived off the land, making friends, allies. He had no intent on hurting her or trying to get close to her for false reasons. He looked up, seeing the familiar glowing eyes and her dead stare. His Nimueh, the one he knew from the beach. The old Nimueh he knew was different of course. But she'd grown. For the better or for the worse, he'd never know.

"What are you doing here, Cynbel? What is it that you want from me?"

Her voice was as cold as steel. A small chuckle erupted from his vocals, his orbs locking on to hers. What did he want from her? Protection; that was already taken care of. He knew how to protect himself. Love? That was crazy. She'd never love him again, he'd broken her heart. The titan knew that somehow, someway, he would earn her trust back. Slowly; maybe he would die trying. But all that matter to him was to get his Nimmy back.

"What am I doing here? I've yet to reach that conclusion myself." he replied, very casually. No need to lead her on. "All I want from you Nimueh, is you. So, I figured what's better than this? Joining your pack? My, have the roles reversed." Amusement dripped in his voice. The former king stood there, admiring the femme fatals beauty. The way her fur blended so easily together, the way her eyes stared him down. The way she looked like she wanted to kill him. Man, was she adorable. Cynbel stood there, his eyes focused on her.

im on my way
