Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

strong in silence.

It was the shriek of a dying rabbit that caught her attention, her gray cloaked head peering up over the sea grasses that danced wildly in the winds which had been whipping across the beach all season. It had caused many to shy away from the shore where the loose sand was flung like miniscule daggers and the waves boiled. The weather of the coastline was always tempestuous, prone to changing drastically one moment to the next, but this squall had begun when winter finally released its hold and showed little sign of letting up. Her brilliant opal eyes squinted against the gusts upwind to where the sound of prey had been brought to her and she had no trouble distinguishing the very large and very white lumbering form of her imprint.

She found it constantly interesting that he chose to linger in this place, for no reason that she could see other than the fact that see stayed here as well. He did not seek her out often, a good thing for Nari relished her personal space, but she could feel him rather consistently through their bond. True he might wander off every now and again, but he always seemed to find his way back here. She wondered how long it could go on until he was discovered by Eden and what would happen then, but the endless possibilities appealed to despite how… adverse they might end up being. Truthfully, she didn’t think Eden would be angry with her having kept her imprint here like some sort of pet, or if he was she doubted even further that he would show it. Despite their relative closeness, he was a secretive man which was just fine with her as it gave her allowance to be a secretive woman. Secrets came rather naturally to a mute.

Approaching she made no attempt to hide herself, she was quiet enough already and had no desire to sneak up on the man, though if he was anything like herself he would be able to feel her presence. She sat nimbly in front of him, her lithe form delicate and built for gentler things than she had chosen for it. Looking pointedly at him she cocked her head to the side before glancing around them wondering what exactly he had been up to.
