At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

Warriors are not born and they are not made,
Warriors create themselves

Ever since magic had changed all of the lands, and moved his pack from the southernmost aspect of Blossom Forest to the northernmost, he had been intrigued to find out what the rest of the land looked like. The thing he wanted to see more than anything, was to see what the southern most aspect that looks like. For as long as he had lived in this place, it had always been made by leisure lake. The lake had been expensive, and impossible to get around due to the surrounding environment, but it had just been a lake. But when he and Khaleesi had been trapped, forced to run and maneuver around flying debris and the elevating land, he had watched the mountains and circle the lake, make it smaller, and force it to be part of the territory itself. He had felt the land moving around him, and though he had not known at the time how far the pack been moved, he had quickly figured it out. Curiosity now was leading him south, to where the lake once lay. Would there even be a border to Blossom Forest now? Or would there be an endless expanse of land that just merged into… Well into whatever lay beyond this place? Aindreas had really wanted to find out the answer- and though he was loathe to leave Mai, he did. Whether he would have if he realized how long the trip would take him, he honestly couldn't answer. For near on a week, maybe a little more, his paws had let him south. He had skirted new boundaries two packs, and along the way had learned their names. Most of the free lands that he was accustomed too were gone, though remnants of them could still be found.

He had sent Rift on a mission to find his son, and so he did not go looking for him himself, but he wanted to learn more of each of these individual lands. When he finally got back to the park, he would have to send out some of his wolves on tracks, in order to learn of the new names. Who is ruling now? None of the alphas that he was aware of were still in power. Who had taken over? Where their packs he needed to be made cautious of? Packs that he should Ally with? He was well aware that in the past, Aurora Borealis, back when it was still Aurora Borealis, had been an ally of Saw Tooth, Moondown Shadows, and Spring Grounds. But the first had been close for ages now, after the volcano had a ruptured and destroyed it, leaving it uninhabitable. Although one brute had briefly ruled there recently, it was nothing he was aware of. As for the second pack, Aindreas himself had been there once, but it had failed to thrive time and time again. And the last pack? Well, he had been there too. And he knew it to be empty. At least it had been when he had left, and when he had left his son there. He could not know what had become of it now, but he needed to. He was the Alpha of Dierne Hrof, and to keep his pack member safe, he needed to stay well-informed. Especially about those who may cause him trouble.

At long last, his paws hit the sand… But it was not the soft silky silt that had lined the shores of the lake. Instead, it was rough, course. Instead of the call, glass surface that had laid over the top of the lake, there was a angry, swirling, dangerous and choppy appearance to the water. There was a tide, and the waters came and went in waves, crashing upon the shore. Surrounding it, there were no trees, no thick copses of evergreen, but rocky cliffs. Great walls of boulder that loomed ominously overhead. The trees had disappeared long before he had hit the ocean, slowly dissipating until the only greenery was the sparse shrubs that dotted the land. It was all different… And now there was a different pack in this location-what once had been Bright Moon now laid there. Aindreas felt a pull toward it, and took a step forward. The sand even moved differently than it had before…. The brute wiggled his toes, each of his claws digging deeper into the grain, and he sighed. Part of them had hoped that the change that had happened to his pack would be a solitary event. The other part of him knew it wasn't, but everything was so much more complicated now. Cautiously, he walked forward, until only the far reaching touch of the stronger waves sent in the force for the water to cascade over his knuckles. And he stood there, and stood there, and stood there. It was peaceful, and yet troubling. What would the future bring?

Through trial and error, pain and suffering,
And their ability to conquer their own faults
