♡I was made for loving you♡

even though we may be hopeless hearts
just passing through

Perhaps it just goes back to the way Jaci’s parents had raised her. That is why she was so happy all the time, why she was kind to everyone that she encountered. For Jaci, the girl made of moonlight, with hair of fine strands from stardust, was not only genial towards the other equine she was so fortunate to come into contact with, but she also treated nature she interacted with in a kindly manner. Her sire and dam had told her to treat all life with sympathy and humanity, whether it was pausing her tracks to let a mother duck and her ducklings cross her way, or slowing her movements to not startle a doe and her fawn. Jaci would never weigh her life as more important as another life, regardless of species, age, whether they considered themselves good or evil. Each life was worth an infinite amount of love and warmheartedness from the little mountain snow angel.

As the mare turns around, Jaci is fully able to admire what a lovely female she is. Her blue coloring is foreign to Jaci’s baby blues, none of her family members had such a coloring as that. As the stranger’s tail swishes behind her, Jaci wonders if perhaps her company was unwelcome, maybe the blue roan dressed lady wanted time to herself, unaware that Bruja had just arrived on these islands, not unlike Jaci who too was new to the many islands, only having just settled in the Inlet under Orkaan’s rule.

“Hello Bruja,” she says in that mellow and pleasing voice of hers, eyes bright and upbeat. “Wow a witch, I cant imagine encountering one of those,” and she laughs with her words, that tinkling sound sliding passed her lips rimmed in an air brushed pink, as she closes her eyes for a brief moment, hiding sky blues under long, thick lashes. She opens them once more then to look to Bruja, picturing for a moment swirls of sparkling magic floating around her, as if she really were witch performing magic spells. “Now tell me, why is the ocean so wretched?” There is jest behind her tone as she makes a face of mock disgust, though it slips quickly back into that reckless grin, unable to keep up such a negative facade for long. “You could try rolling the snow to get rid of the salt,” she suggests, having performed this action many a time in the Inlet, whether it was to get rid of the salty ocean feeling, or simply because Jaci was a lover of the snow, it reminding her of her mountain home far, far away from here. She peers out from beneath long, dark lashes, and her thin forelock painted in white as she looks to Bruja, thinking she wouldn't mind making a snow angel with the girl dressed in blue.
