_________________________________________________________________________ A warm smile reached the femme’s muzzle as she saw the form of her nephew approaching. She wasn’t surprised that he had found her, and she greeted him warmly. She asked how his meeting with the alphess went, hoping that it hadn’t added any more stress to the young Tempest. Adara wasn’t sure if the younger male had romantic feelings for Motionless, but he didn’t seem outwardly upset. That didn’t mean that he wasn’t concealing those feelings though, and her bright blue orbs looked him over, for any hint as to what he might be feeling. She didn’t want to pry too much, but she also didn’t want to seem like she didn’t care either. She knew her brother did an excellent job of hiding his emotions, and Drizzt being Aindreas’ son meant he could be just as good at it. The femme was surprised to hear that he had been made Beta, but was proud of him for such a position. Motionless must not hold any form of grudge against him for confusing her feelings if she trusted him enough to be second in command. She gave him a warm smile as she congratulated him, ”That’s great to hear Drizzt! Congratulations.” Their conversation turned back to the task at hand, at training for their new tasks. Adara had never been a strong fighter, and she hoped that her own skills would be enough should she find the need to have to fight. She didn’t want to be a fighter, had never been one to like violence. But now that the Arcus Irae were back, and the vampires with them, she knew it was only a matter of time before it would come to violence. And Adara could only hope that the skills that she did possess would be enough to protect those that could not fight for themselves, mainly the rainbows. For now Adara and Drizzt would train together, but she knew that Aindreas was more skilled than her, and perhaps Vladimir too. It would benefit all of them if she went to her brothers to further her training, and she hoped that her nephew would join her. Despite not having the best relationship with his father. Maybe this would help their family come together more and become closer. Drizzt was an adult now, and this would change her strategy of training him. Even though he was younger, he was not a pup or a teen anymore. She watched as he took a few moments to stretch his muscles, preparing for the spar that would take place. She took a few moments to check out the terrain that they were on. The river was next to them, and the ground under them was a mix of sand and rocks, which wouldn’t help their paws or claws gain purchase. She put some space between herself and Drizzt, debating if she would have him start the spar or if she would. She knew that he didn’t have much practice, so it would be best if she began, and then they could see what his instincts had Drizzt do. ”Okay, if you can before a fight begins, examine your surroundings. You don’t want to get yourself hurt because of a foolish mistake in your environment. You wouldn’t want a fight to end with you in the water, or you could risk being drowned. The rocks and pebbles under us will make it more slippery and harder to have precise movements, so try to bear that in mind.” Adara paused her speech for a moment in case the brute had any questions before they began. ”Now, I think it best if we get right into sparring, see where your instincts lead you, and then we can go from there.” She waited for him to agree, her claws digging into the ground beneath her as her muscles tensed. Once Drizzt was ready, she quickly made a leap at him, going for a basic head on approach to see if he would dodge, or try and take the blow and then attack back.
