The Grotto
Disaster has struck!

He was in process of following that girl. The one who captured his soul. She was in Glorall and he wanted to be near, but not. The winds howled over the lands around here. Annoying really, but he could for now only dive into the shelter of the grotto. The trees in the lands had been loud and creaking and his nose had gotten some wind burn for as much as he sulked around in the area waiting. He wasn’t sure though what exactly he was waiting for. He wanted to meet with that girl, but he was curious about her movements too. Where they her own? Her pack’s will? What was she doing? He wanted to know, perhaps it would be good for him, or not. He wasn’t sure what to do with her, what she would be. Imprinting… He never would have expected he had the capability. HIs father never imprinted, and he didn’t know if his mother ever had either. He heard there were those out there that couldn’t and with his lack of ability to even care about anyone other than himself he figured he was incapable of forming a bond as deep as imprinting.
He might have been how he had been because of his upbringing. Or maybe not. He wasn’t treated terribly, but he wasn’t treated well either. He certainly wasn’t shoved off to the side like Boneskull and Kahina, but he mostly stayed out of the way to begin with. He could see it, even at a young age he could see his mother’s feelings and his father’s lack thereof. He saw what they did when the other wasn’t looking. It was easy when you were a third set of eyes, watching the actions of others. That was how he spent his first year and some figuring out how to act, and be. He didn’t want to be his father, but he couldn't deny that he wasn’t like the very creature he looked like.
It was like the very ghost of his past he pondered about appeared though at the slightest thought. He hadn’t seen his mother since the day of his father’s death. For all he knew she was killed too, but no. That was unmistakably her voice. He turned quickly, bright pink eyes that he had inherited from her snapping onto her quickly and his whole body tensing. It was her. Though he remembered her being bigger… then again it was probably him that he had grown in leaps and bounds since she had last seen him.
