At one point in time, Misty Mountain stood opposite of Rainbow Cliff, and these rose to the sky as the only peaks in Blossom Forest. Since the magical change of the land, an entire chain of peaks rose from the bowels of the earth to become the Culter Unlaeddod - the Teeth of the Gods. Misty Mountain is still of the peaks, but many others exist as well. They run from north to south, from east to west. Atop some of the peaks, snow covers them year round, making the paths slippery and hazardous. Others are lower in altitude and are extremely humid, covered in thick, dense forests with mists swirling between each of the trunks. Others still are bare - naked boulders rising and falling haphazardly.

These chains of peaks do connect many of the packs, and they hold many things to explore - forbidden forests, deep and mysterious caves, beautiful scenic cliffs. However, one must have care - if you fall, it is a long, long, long way down...

Due to the varying terrains, many prey options are available. For those scared of injury, you may find ptarmigans, ravens, crows, squirrels, dormice, or rabbits. The adults hunting alone can find mountain goats... but for those hunting in a pack, there are elk, moose, and Bighorn Sheep.

Splitting up from his brother probably wasn't his brightest plan, but Philomelos figured it would be a good idea to explore the new territory for themselves. The twins almost did everything together. Hunt, find friends.. but sometimes the quieter twin needed a bit of a break from his hotheaded brother. Melos knew that if he would have to fight he stood a fairly decent chance. He and his brother had escaped from a bear a few months back. He figured if they could do that then they could do anything. He and his brother had always been pretty close. But now it was time for a new adventure. His own adventure.

So far, it had led him into the mountains. With all the changes that had been produced in Blossom, he really wasn't even sure of the names. The mountains had always fascinated him. Their snowy peaks had been his interest ever since his family had seen them while traveling. The almost glowed as they touched the skies.

As he trotted up the steep slopes, he couldn't help but let his mocha gaze wander around. Then a sound cut through the serene air. A groan, a small one at that. It was higher pitches so he automatically assumed it was a pup. Boy or girl? He wasn't completely sure. Philomelos wasn't someone to just sit around and let others be hurt- no way. He could sense the pain coming from this child's voice. His eyes widened as he spotted a black shape in the distance.

"Hello?" he called out, a worried tone clinging to his voice just as clouds clung to the mountain. He padded forward and saw the tiny femme stuck between two rocks. Her creamy colored eyes told him she obviously couldn't see. She was blind. "Are you hurt, young one? How can I help?" he asked, bending down so he was at her height.

"My name is Philomelos. You can call me Phil or Melos," He proceeded, not yet touching her. "Are you hurt?"
