At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

The Devil Came To Take Me To Hell

It was growing colder and colder, the family that he knew was all but stitched together by that crazed fiend of a mother they had - The one who had turned them to begin with. She was the shadows in the night, the darkness that watched you from the trees. She was the Vampire Queen - And he her Prince. Though they all knew who she'd pick. It didn't take long for him to figure out that she had a certain soft spot for his brother. He wondered why . . . And how they were so different when they looked exactly alike.

Rumors began to surface, he had heard of her previous lover. How he looked so much like the two brothers. And of course, what was his name? Lucifer. Then again, Kel seemed so set on having that pack all to herself if something ever happened to their mother. Lucifer just scoffed at her, knowing damn well he could play whatever part their sick, twisted mother wanted him to play.

But he wasn't like them, he didn't want to be like them. He wanted to be a normal wolf, able to have a normal family - And once that came out to mother all hell seemed to break loose. Though it was hell he was already living in. What sane wolf feels safe in the depths of a swamp filled with snakes and alligators twice the size of themselves? It wasn't right. Though he had trained alongside his siblings and was just as strong a fighter, he didn't feel he fit in.

The monster left the only family he had known and the only home. He didn't say a word, not a goodbye or anything. He needed to go but to where he did not know. He left at sundown, the only time it would be safe. The vampire prince began his journey, his mind running through so much information and with what he could do with it. His bright red eyes watched as he could see perfectly in the quickly setting sun.

A ghostly form caught his eyes, overlooking some herbs. His scentless body made him seem almost as if he wasn't even there. His white paws silently hit the ground as he came up behind her. "Are you . . . A healer?" He asked softly, hoping not to startle the little lass as he towered over her. "Can you help turn me back? I don't want to stay like this forever . . ."

But I'm Already There
