Fir Chilis is the name given to the dense string of forested land that fills much of Blossom Forest. There are two different populations, depending on where in the land you are. To the north lays the deciduous forest, full of maples, oaks, birches, and beeches. To the south lay a coniferous forest full of pines and firs. No matter where you are, the trees shelter you from the sun and the rain and the snow. Take care not to get lost in the woods however - you may never find your way out. There are other dangerous here too - predators waiting for their own prey. While the land is prosperous they do not pose too much of a threat, but whenever famine or drought hits, they will attack anything... even other Putnar.

Those looking to hunt will find the forests well stocked - there are white-tailed deer, turkeys, red squirrels, chipmunks, mermots, and moose.

Harlow truly was not certain how to react to the female's unnatural eyes. He found himself naturally skeptical of the glowing blue but at the same time equally drawn to them out of wonder - and he tread a fine line between the two in the decision to ask her about them, though the latter seemed to be taking the forefront at least for the moment.

If the female's light laugh was anything to judge by, she'd found humor in his words and that only intensified the small smile that had slowly fought its way to Harlow's lips when she spoke. Though the answer he truly waited for was to the question that had appeared to catch her off guard. He waited expectantly but patiently, acknowledging the fact that he had shifted the subject rather abruptly and allowing her a moment to adjust. The answer he received though, when she did give it, provided him with more questions rather than the satisfaction that he sought. Her voice was soft and hesitant, and that made him wonder why... was it that he had broached a more delicate subject than he originally thought, or was it that she merely that she feared his reaction? Harlow was confused by the concept of how and why her eyes would 'change' but his expression sobered when she admitted that their changing had not been pleasant.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring up something unpleasant for you." The male added to the sincerity of his apology with a short pause before he continued. "I've just never seen anything quite like them before... and I am a curious wolf." He offered a gentle simpering sort of smirk at the declaration as if that explained everything, unable to keep his eyes from trying to hold hers for a moment, their warm depths full of unasked questions. The dark colored wolf wagged his tail once, nodding his dark head. "If it bothers you, I will refrain from asking anymore about them." Harlow looked away for a moment to gaze in the direction he had been traveling before looking back to her for an indication that perhaps he should return to his explorations alone rather than hope for company.
