Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

- Zelda -

She expected him quickly, the gales around her though still kept her spirit oddly relaxed despite the conversation that was about to come. Alexander remained a quiet source of comfort as well. She didn’t really expect trouble, but having an extra set of ears and eyes was always nice when doing these sorts of things. Even if he was just the observer of the conversation Zelda didn’t mind. Having him there just brought her a little more ease of mind today. Soon though her mind stopped wandering and focused upon the grey and copper eyed wolf that was the alpha of these lands. Zelda was never quite sure what to think of him. He wasn’t bad, or at least she didn’t want to think so, but he was still an enigma to her and even her mother who had gotten so close to him.

He didn’t speak upon arrival, simply motioned to her to follow him, and Zelda left it up to Alexander if he would also follow as well. He picked a location a little further into the pack, large trees were there breaking the wind further, though still the sound filled the area around them with the swishing of the leaves and creeking of branches. She didn’t seat herself again either, he remained standing, bowing to her to which she returned immediately, dipping her head low in respect to the male who had been Alpha for longer than any of the current leaders of Moladion. He had her respect, and in many ways also her trust, though there was always something she wasn’t sure of with him, she was certain it wasn’t wholly bad. This situation even still made her not think he was a bad wolf.

”I’m sorry to have surprised you, Eden, but I wanted to talk to you personally on a matter that has come up recently so that my words were not misconstrued by a messenger. The journey here was uneventful thankfully.” She added giving a small apologetic smile. She hoped that he was not to bothered by this, she wasn’t going to beat around the bush on the matter either. ”If I may then, I wish to get to the reason of my visit.” It wasn’t to be disrespectful, it was more to be rid of a weight that was on her chest, the slight anxiety that was building up since they had come to this more quiet location. She wanted to get this over with, let him know her thoughts and listen to his own.

”You may recall what happened to my Uncle, the past Guardian of the Forest, Amoxtli. Well it has come to light that your daughter, Ehiyeh, was the culprit of that incident and it had been an accident.” She spoke as calmly as she could, though perhaps it could be seen that she was still a little nervous. She took a breath to still herself smiling at the alpha before her, ”I didn’t come here to seek punishment on her, only that, if someone were to have known the truth, we wished that we would have known as well as to not have years of anxiety and pain placed unduly upon us. Knowing the truth removed a great burden from the minds of those afflicted. It was an accident after all.” She wasn’t implying that he knew, there was no proof other than Alistair’s suspicions after all that Eden knew at all. However Zelda looked kindly upon the alpha still smiling slightly and her tail even gave bid to wave. ”Though that is not to say I don’t understand why someone might not have said anything if she’s a loved one. I just wished that they would have known Taviora and our own motives better, and hope they now do… If they knew that was.” She added giving her head a little tilt closing her eyes as she grinned a little more.

”Please do not punish her, let her know that she has been forgiven by us, and by my uncle.” Zelda asked of him, eyes turning a little more serious at her plead, just in case he didn’t know that little bit of information about what his child had done. There were no more accusations, and now the weight on her chest was gone, but she now she just had to wait to see how the waterside pack’s alpha would take this abundance of information.
