He had no idea of her struggles, her problems, they mattered, but they didn’t. After all right now he was just trying to find his way into her heart, to explore it and become a part of it even if it was for selfish reasons he would help. His tail gave a wave, his eyes flitting about lightly as she seemed lost in thought, though she seemed to find herself though, shaking her head as he began to talk of his own home of Iromar. It wasn’t fantastic, but it was his home. It worked for him and Pine more or less left him to his own devices.
He didn’t think he was a wolf of interest despite his parentage, which… well to be honest surprised him. Perhaps it was because he was a child that she let him do as he wanted, though very quickly he was growing in size and surpassing the alpha. Unlike his father though, there wouldn’t be a handicap if they got into it, not that he planned to, but he wanted his space and part of the reason he wanted to learn to be a warrior, her ‘Dragon’ was to make sure she wouldn’t be slipping past his defences and killing him next. After all… he basically looked exactly like the man, the more he grew the more his features resembled that of his father, even if his markings did not. He was sure it was a little more than a little discomforting for those that knew the tyrant alpha.
However, Zanon was not his father, he had the necessary gravitas to make him get by with most wolves, and didn’t demand anything of anyone. He saw where that got his parents, and wasn’t about to start falling down their slippery slope. Zanon could tell she was interested though, her eyes lit up and she rolled her eyes when he commented that her parents were just keeping her here to keep her safe. He gently wanted to poke more into her life though, see what else bothered her. She wanted to get out, be free of the land, her parents, if even for a day. He would see she was safe and sound and come back without a single fur on her head harmed. A first step into a little friendship he hoped.
Though… the resentment in her tones were equally interesting. He wanted to know why, he guessed the busy father and brother were part of it, and her over protectiveness of both parents might be another. ”Well then, I think I can manage something like that sometime.” He said with a smile to her. ”If she won’t let you go out on your own I will take you out and we will get you back before anyone even realizes!” He said assuredly. ”Though, are you sure you want to go against your parents’ wills? After all you could get into trouble.” It wouldn’t be today no… but a visit in the future perhaps. He kept his promises after all, and while it might be a while he did intend to keep it best he could.
