At one point in time, Misty Mountain stood opposite of Rainbow Cliff, and these rose to the sky as the only peaks in Blossom Forest. Since the magical change of the land, an entire chain of peaks rose from the bowels of the earth to become the Culter Unlaeddod - the Teeth of the Gods. Misty Mountain is still of the peaks, but many others exist as well. They run from north to south, from east to west. Atop some of the peaks, snow covers them year round, making the paths slippery and hazardous. Others are lower in altitude and are extremely humid, covered in thick, dense forests with mists swirling between each of the trunks. Others still are bare - naked boulders rising and falling haphazardly.

These chains of peaks do connect many of the packs, and they hold many things to explore - forbidden forests, deep and mysterious caves, beautiful scenic cliffs. However, one must have care - if you fall, it is a long, long, long way down...

Due to the varying terrains, many prey options are available. For those scared of injury, you may find ptarmigans, ravens, crows, squirrels, dormice, or rabbits. The adults hunting alone can find mountain goats... but for those hunting in a pack, there are elk, moose, and Bighorn Sheep.

Shilo And I Donít Think That I Can Be Fixed

The kalak was unsure of where she was heading or why she had the desire to go outside of the pack lands, but she didnít question it and let her paws carry her through the trees. With the seasons changing there was a cold chill in the air that ruffled her russet pelt. Shilo did not like the cold, and she shivered as she continued her exploration of the lands. There were still many areas in the land that she hadnít explored since the lands had changed, and her cool mint green orbs took in the sites of the areas she had not been to recently. Shilo noticed that the air was getting cooler as she went, and she slowed her pace, wondering if she should head back towards the packlands. A small cough left her as she continued forward a bit more, wanting to explore the areas near the mountains even though there was a chill in the air. Ever since she had been born, she had been slower than her siblings and others her age, so she had not yet ventured out this far. For a while she had been scared to, knowing how easy it was for her to get sick. But she had been trying not to live in fear so much.

The tall stilted femme continued to make her way through the trees around the mountains before she caught site of a stranger. The other female looked to be a bit younger than she was, but definitely not as young as pup. Shilo was not always the most outgoing, but she decided to go forward and say hello this time. If she had come all this way she might as well make it worth it. Giving the other female an awkward hello, Shilo padded forward, hoping that she wasnít being intrusive. But the stranger was not with anyone else, so she figured there was no harm in saying hello. The other femme didnít seem bothered by Shiloís approach, as she too padded forward, a giggle on her lips as she spoke.
"Wow, you're tall! I wonder if it's more fun up there?" The kalak was surprised by her words, but when she thought about it the femme was not wrong. Maned wolves were known to be tall, and she was no exception. She was not as tall as her siblings or parents, her growth having been stunted from her sickness, but she was till taller than the stranger. With a smile on her kissers, she spoke once more. ĒIt seems that youíve been having more fun than me.Ē She let out a soft chuckles as she sat down, trying not to show her exhaustion from her travels.

The younger femme jumped up with energy, energy that Shilo never had, even when she was young. "You speak! I was worried you wouldn't, the rabbit didn't listen when I said they should come out and play! I'm Cala, what's your name?" Calaís form wriggled with excitement, showing that she clearly wanted to play. Even if Shilo had been in a playful mood, she was far too tired to engage in any more activity. It reminded her of her siblings when they were younger. She would try to play with them, wrestling about as all pups did, but she tired quickly and would always go back to her mother, not understanding why she was the only one. She now knew it was because of a blood sickness she had been born with, but it still frustrated her. Trying not to dwell on how much she wished that she could engage in playful activities with Cala, she answered. ĒMy name is Shilo. Itís nice to meet you. Rabbits donít make the best playmate unfortunately. Do you have any siblings?Ē Her head cocked to the side, curious about this stranger And she hoped that the femme would not be offended that she was unable to play along.
