Sales
The September offer on power/trait sales has been made permanent. From now on, you can sell powers/traits assigned to a character for 10% of the original value. So selling a standard 2,000$ power will earn you back 200$.
Non-collectable/rare items from your bank (including powers/traits) can now be sold to the Ragman for 60% of the original value. This applies to all non rare/collectable shop items, including expensive ones. So if you bought a baby coupon for 5,000$, you could sell it for 3,000$.
Pets
Several updates to pets:
- Ordinary domesticated pets like cats, dogs, horses etc can now be listed in your characters' databases if you want, but don't have to be. It's your choice. You'll notice them "for sale" in the shop but they're still free. They're only listed there to make it clear that you can have them added to profiles if you want.
- As well as tame predators, you can now buy tame prey like deer, zebra, giraffes etc for 300$.
- Extinct predators are split into "small" and "giant". "Small" basically encompasses anything from small to big, while "giant" is for those ridiculous extinct animals like megalodon/titanoboa etc which would be total game-changers if a char had one as a pet. To allow for that, normal extinct preds are still 2k$ but the giants are 6k$. This is just so we don't have 100 T-Rexes running around.
- There are now two types of pet items: the pets themselves, which you're used to, and pet alteration items (marked with a + sign). Pet alteration items can be overlaid onto any pet to change it. For example...
If I wanted a unicorn with dinosaur spines down its back, I pay 800$ for the unicorn and an additional 700$ for the appearance alteration.
If I wanted a domestic cat which is pink, has antlers and remains a kitten forever, I pay nothing for the base "cat" as that is free, but I pay 700$ for the pink fur, 700$ for the antlers and 500$ for the forever baby add-on.
