Her own hell portals stared into his red pools as she looked for the answers for something - Anything. She wanted to know why she was born into this life of suffering. Why everyone else around her rose to such greatness and happiness but she stayed the same and lived the same dull life. She wanted something to live for, someone to live for. Even if it was a new person each day, just a push to get her by. She needed to feel wanted, and needed right now before she could get back on her feet to the proud femme she once was - And maybe this brute could help her. Just for tonight . . . The thought of what could happen between them if he did take advantage of how open she was to anything these days made her a little scared - What if she got pregnant? As soon as he looked her in the eyes while she stepped forward those thoughts melted away and for once her mind went silent. . ”I am sorry for what has happened to you. I know it is not the same, but if it is any comfort to you myself and my siblings went through a similar…attack. It’s how I lost my father…and my first home.” She exhaled in relief. He too knew the suffering, the pain. ”Oh, sorry. My name is Ghost.” She smiled at him, watching as he came a little closer. The once dull eyes seemed to come to life a little more as he did so. "Ghost. It suits you." She spoke with that same sad yet beautiful smile curling up her lips. Once he got a few inches from her she watched as he reached out to touch her flank with his banner. She smiled at the gesture and at his words as he spoke them. ”Is there anything I can do to help? I am only a loner, but I can offer myself to help protect you at least.” She bit her tongue, silence filled the air as she began to wonder what she should say. "I would love the protection, honestly . . ." She trailed off as she inched a little closer to him until they were almost nose to nose. Her head pointed down to her paws, but her orbs looked up to him. "Maybe . . . You could give me a reason to be alive. Even if it's just for today." She spoke, giving a small smile as she felt uneasy. What if she rejected her? She didn't want to think of that, though she knew he had the ultimate choice in the matter. "I'm not one for commitment . . . Not now at least." She said softly, portals look to meet his own as she awaited a response. Lay Lost In All The City Lights ||Motionless||   |
