Robin
heart belongs to starfire .. no home .. child of delaria

Just keep running. As fast can he could without losing track of his beloved. Run from the past, run from his parents, run from her sister. They had to escape. They hadn't to find a new way to live their life together. They had to keep going until their lungs gave out from exhaustion, till they were sweating. Till they were safe. While he ran, his long black speckled limbs stretching out before him, he thought about how the past few days had gone over. He'd been brought the princess, a mere slave taken under his parents order. Robin didn't see her as a slave. How could one put a label on someone? In his light green eyes, she wasn't a slave. She wasn't a Tamaranean Princess, heiress to her throne. That was until his parents hadn't taken that away. They'd Sen for armies to kill her people, kill her parents. She was ordered back to his kingdom to be a slave. However, he couldn't stand for it. She was beautiful and hurting. He couldn't beat her, couldn't hurt her. Instead he comforted her and the two fell in love. He and the princess were strictly ordered not to have any romantic connection. He failed, demanding to wed. His parents wouldn't allow it. The worst part wasn't that when Starfire's sister, Blackfire, learned of this, she was furious. She was set on killing his beloved lady. They devised a plan to run away, in which they carried out.

"We did it! We are the free!" The sound of giant lovers broken English reached his auds, he finally let his pace slow, his feet dusting in the snow. Was she right, we're they actually free of all of their problems? He trusted her and let his muzzle raise, his green eyes locking on her beautiful body. Then he carefully gazed at the surroundings. They'd stopped near a shallow river, it's icy water flowing freely beneath a thin layer of glass. She whipped around to face him, and he padded forward to stand in front of her. "We did it," she repeated, her voice a song to his ears. Her own gaze moved to the mountains, seeing the sun begin to creep out for the morning. It was a beautiful sight. Once again, her heavenly song broke loose. "Robin," Oh how he loved hearing her say his name. "Can we stay here forever? It is most peaceful and beautiful here!"

"Oh my beloved," he let out a gentle whine as he stepped closer, letting his muzzle find her nape. He couldn't help his grin running over his face as he leaned against her. His breathing was quickly paced he tried to catch his breath. His heart raced in his chest. "Of course we can. We're safe here, aren't we? Nothing to run from, no one to please but ourselves. We can have a life here," he said as he sat down in the snow, letting the chill take over his hot body. "Come lay with me darling, let us rest before we have to find a home."
