Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Not that Matianak would actually go out of her way to harm Natiya. The girl did nothing to impede her own doings, so there was no real reason to go after her half-sister. Of course, Thorne was another thing. And yet, she still smiled. "Good for her. Perhaps she and I might have a round, just to see," Mat said with a sway of her tail. It was quite a reasonable possibility. For the grey coated female did not dislike Natiya, so there was no real mental harm in it. Physical injuries, those were an entirely different animal. Though she was not quite so blood thirsty as her beloved brother, she was never opposed to a fight worth her time, nor taking a life that needed to be taken. Like Umbra.

"Call it what you will. It is all still the same in the end," she said with a light shrug. He might not believe in the Shade, but the Shade believed in him. He could call it his own desire or whatever else he chose. In her mind, it was still the same: The Shade was Death, no matter what you chose to call it. Matianak was not overly thrilled by the idea of Thorne killing Under. Not at the moment at least. She gave a casual stretch of her limbs as he continued, her interest a bit more piqued as the conversation steered towards Umbra. "Ah, she is... who she is. Always has been, and likely always will be. And given your relationship with her, not something you will likely be able to snuff out," she said. She had no qualms with Thorne's dislike of Umbra, not in the least. She would not, however, allow him the pleasure of ending her.

"I can tolerate your desire to end our sire. Preferably not in the near future. Perhaps in a year or two," Matianak went on, musing somewhat curiously. "As for your wish to end my dearest sister... That I simply cannot allow." Granted, her tone was quite genuine in the statement. It was not something she would allow because that was her own personal desire, and if Thorne got in her way, she was not opposed to ending as well if it came to it, and likely he the same for her.
