Mara Sov’s gaze was cautious, It was felt like a tingle rushing along her spine when she made her offer of training. Was he suspicious of her actions or reasonings? Perhaps she would do best to leave it alone and yet she waited until he finished speaking to offer him a light smile. “If you have questions, you are always free to ask.” Perhaps he could have interpreted it to mean about training but she left a hint to the fact that wasn’t simply all she meant. While her actions may have a selfish undertone to them they were backed by reason and true generosity, all things she would answer to him truthfully. Maybe a bit more lavishly without her desires being so much flaunted rather a footnote but for the moment it didn’t matter she could be more decisive should the question arise. “That being said I will speak them, I would enjoy showing you around my home too.” She spoke likely her gaze roaming her thoughts lingered as to if she should continue to speak or be silent and so she chose to wait a little longer.

She listens to him speak of her family and how he would be avoided if he outright spoke of his family. Mara stopped moving forward and planted her self-looking at him coldly. “You wouldn’t be avoided because of your family Zanon. Certainly not by my family or myself, If you believe both sides to welcome me then you have a rather large family to call your own. Just because you aren’t proud of your family or whatever the case they don’t define who you are. You may not think much of my words because of my youth, but I see the way my mother looks at my father. I don’t doubt we are bound by the soul and though I don’t think I am wrong even so I have no intention to judge or betray you.” Her gaze cast down almost as if contemplating the words she just spoke. No, she didn’t expect to be treated how her father and mother acted together but Mara only felt it right to express how she felt almost offended at the fact he thought anyone would just avoid him when she saw him as so much more than another wolf with the history she saw him as her soul.

A sigh and a shake of her head she dismissed herself to be silent as she followed him along. She mulled over how she did not even touch more on the fact she didn’t need to be accepted by them all and perhaps Mara didn’t feel the need to be welcomed by any of them in these moments no angel or demon blood truly mattered to her. Her step instinctively pressed closer into his personal space as her thoughts roamed and she wasn’t completely focused on the path ahead as she tried to center herself and clear her thoughts. Doing her best to lighten the mood she responded to the statement he offered before her rant and took care to listen to what he did for fun. “Well, In a way yes it is exciting I suppose but it is a lonely path with some unfriendly faces. My previous visit to a pack hasn’t been as pleasant as this one has, so it has its downfalls. I wouldn’t mind your company in exploring some places if you are interested in going out and about.” She was careful not to overstep as to say packs but for that, she would need approval from Zelda, even then she wouldn’t come to terms with any of his blood on her paws should a fight break out.

The sloshing of water caused an ear to twitch in the direction of the noise once more but she thought for a moment. “How would you like to go take a stroll with me, perhaps we could hunt something small or sightsee. I am sure you have been to the free lands if you have been keeping an eye on myself.” Offering a small grin she looked at him before looking back to the path before them. “I can not say that I look forward to leaving soon I would like to make as much out of my time here as I can if that is okay with you that is.” Mara sighed her light-hearted banter fading and growing serious once more as she lifted her gaze to meet his own; “I may not know all I wish to know in life yet, but you are important to me Zanon. I won’t press the matter, but may I ask you to tell me more about your family, your life? I wish to get to know you better if you will let me.” Mara knew not to expect much but all the same, she would care for him without hesitation.
