Hey everyone! We have another vote we would like everybody to take part in and give us their opinion on. This time we are proposing the possibility of getting rid of steals, for a few reasons.
Firstly, the steal board has not been particularly active for a long time, and even when steals are issued they are even more rarely valid, even after we made them easier. This is because they are quite subjective as a system, not just because of personal interpretation, but also the way different search engines work for different people or in different locations that can lead to confusion in solving clues.
Secondly, we think that removing steals would hopefully encourage more battling and raiding in particular for those who do not wish to battle. Raiding already essentially fills the same role as stealing, and not only it is a much more clear-cut system to judge for everyone involved, but it also makes more sense in-character and encourages development and plot opportunities through this interaction.
Therefore we would like to have a simple response to this vote from everyone:
YAY – Get rid of steals and just use battles and raids instead.
NAY – Keep steals, we should keep all three methods available.
