Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Whatever Azariah says is disregarded. She has made clear her aversion to him yet Thorne cannot abide by such. This bond is more integral that she is willing to allow but for him, it is set in stone and he will not allow anything to come between it. It is odd and in the midst of dark, damp nights he ponders it. Away from her he is more clear headed. There is little about Azariah that truly sings to him the way that perhaps Eve or even Kahina do. She is bossy, talkative, and if he had to truly name her, boring, yet this soul-bond means that he is still fascinated by her. Or his need to control her as he tries to control everything. If she was not bound to him then it was likely they never would have met again after that day of lightning. As it is, she is his, and this male was posturing in threat against him. That was not to be given little credence - in fact, Thorne had come knowing that things might spiral down hill, and as he lunged, he felt a certain sick excitement at it.

Arturio steps back but his strike still lands atop his crown and is only dissuaded when Azariah throws a leg over his neck which sparks his fur into full rise, electricity zooming down his torso even as her teeth latch painful around his neck and yank. She assumes this will deter him as Indeed, it is slightly distracting if only because he considers her bite and closeness a claiming of sorts. Her soul stirs in rage to his own, in passion, and it confirms that she IS his other half. A groan is given as she pulls, the pain also filled with pleasure at her assault, moments before Arturio moves forward and grabs at his leg. Those teeth wrap around the joint and Thorne snarls suddenly, ripping his head back in the direction of Arturio. Either Azariah will rip his skin or her head will come with him, but he does not stop, his jaw aiming down for the same right ear that he had grazed with the intention of ripping it to shreds - or better, to try and grip the male behind the base of his skull and rip his head clean off - if only he had such power.

Whatever happens, the pain in his leg doubles beneath the grasp of Arturio and whatever punishment Azariah doled out. This was a losing battle but he wasn’t ready to secede just yet.
