At one point in time, Misty Mountain stood opposite of Rainbow Cliff, and these rose to the sky as the only peaks in Blossom Forest. Since the magical change of the land, an entire chain of peaks rose from the bowels of the earth to become the Culter Unlaeddod - the Teeth of the Gods. Misty Mountain is still of the peaks, but many others exist as well. They run from north to south, from east to west. Atop some of the peaks, snow covers them year round, making the paths slippery and hazardous. Others are lower in altitude and are extremely humid, covered in thick, dense forests with mists swirling between each of the trunks. Others still are bare - naked boulders rising and falling haphazardly.

These chains of peaks do connect many of the packs, and they hold many things to explore - forbidden forests, deep and mysterious caves, beautiful scenic cliffs. However, one must have care - if you fall, it is a long, long, long way down...

Due to the varying terrains, many prey options are available. For those scared of injury, you may find ptarmigans, ravens, crows, squirrels, dormice, or rabbits. The adults hunting alone can find mountain goats... but for those hunting in a pack, there are elk, moose, and Bighorn Sheep.

a future corrupt.

It seemed that the young femme could not rid herself of the thoughts of it. Of Costin, her lover, even if had only been for the single night. She found it collapsed, starved and dying in the bitter cold of winter. She offered it assistance, desperate to care for it, but she never would have guessed that her warmth and natural hospitality would result in their mating. And almost as quickly as they began, the onyx spotted demon had fled. Leaving Nike's delicate frame standing alone in the center of the chilled terrain. And taking her innocence with it.

After this experience, the young vixen did not want to return to Crith. Not yet. Her mind finally travels to another memory, and this one is of Mai, the brindled visitor that appeared at the borders of her home. She wished that she knew her more, knew more of Maiís own pack, Dierne. Now that Nike had aged, she was curious, desperate to explore the world and soak up any and all information that she was provided with.

She can tell that Spring is nearing; no, it couldnít be long now. The once vicious and dangerous ice begins to melt beneath the heat of the day, dropping to the earth in soft and pitiful drips. And Nike finds comfort in the continuous sound, zoning in on the quiet and familiar clinks. That is when she notices it, her obsidian auds swiving in all directions in attempt to locate the noise. What on earth was that? Something drums beneath the surface of the earth in front of her, a replica of a lupineís heartbeat, and once Nikeís emerald jewels sweep to survey the ground, the light appears. It is subtle, slow streams of light reaching her sight from a nearby mountain. It is radiate, shimmering with all shades of the rainbow, and she canít take her eyes off of it. Her green hues are wide, bewitched by this beautiful and unnatural occurrence. A soft tingle encases her petite silhouette, and without even realizing it, Nike begins to teeter on her short appendages. In a matter of seconds, her monochrome silhouette has collapsed into the damp earth.
