PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

And like that I was torn out and thrown in the sky Any

OOC-killing my writers block by posting with my baby boy fuast

When I was done dying, my conscience regained
So I began my struggle, a nothingness strained

Out a flash made of time, my new form blasted out
And it startled me so and I burst out a shout

The brute didn't really know where he was, or where his “master” had run off to. He lets a small smile spread across his face as he thinks of her, so happy and full of energy. After they had made their little arrangement, he her servant/pet and she his master. SHe had brought it up probably as a joke, but he had agreed to it because why not? He had nothing better to do and a good portion of his life had been aimless wandering till now. Now he had purpose, someone to tell him what to do instead of bumbling around grasping for meaning and guidance. He honestly didn’t mind it or what others who knew about it would think.

Fuast stops his fast pace and lowers his massive skull to the earth so that he might try to pick up any kind of scent trail that kassiopeia might have left. She sure was fast, while he himself was not. He wasn’t built for fast speeds but boy he could walk for days on end if he needed to. Right now he was trotting along what he assumed was kassiopeia’s trail, the hoof prints matched hers and it kinda smelled like her. He wouldn’t know though, until he found whoever was at the end of this trail. He hoped it was kassiopeia, for he hadn’t met any of the other ladies that lived here. He did hear about them though, a bachelorette herd living up high somewhere.

He had nothing against them and always loved when he found out there was a bachelorette herd wherever he was at. He admired the strong mares who had made up these herds. He never interacted with any of them though, preferring to steer clear in case he got attacked. He had known one such bachelorette herd that had a stronghatred for stallions and was known to even cull their newborn colts. So while he admired and respected them he also feared them enough to not mess with them. He loved living too much to potentially endanger himself like that back then.

He continues for a while, gradually slowing his pace to a sluggish walk as he finally reached the border. Now he was nervous and his anxiety had decided now would be a perfect time to poke it head up from wherever it had been hiding. They’ll kill you, rip you limb from limb and leave your carcass here to warn other stallions to back off, we should run right NOW, his anxiety harshly whispered to him. Don't run, that would be stupid and make us look like a giant idiot. Kassiopeia must be somewhere and has probably informed her herd of your arrival, his logical side informed him. While both sides of where his anxiety was probably wrong it didn’t stop his breath from increasing its pace as he stood there.

The black brute stood stock still with eyes wide open as he was engulfed by a panic attack. He felt his heart rate pick up, his breath coming in quick like he was in a full gallop. Oh god he felt like he was going to die and nothing was happening to him. Fuast’s nostrils flared and he picked his head up higher, the whites of his eyes visible as he fearfully looked around him but saw no one. ”Theres no one there, im fine, im not dying.” he spoke quietly to himself in an attempt at calming himself down, but his body wholeheartedly disagreed with him. His body said he WAS going to die, and that the only way to escape his fate would be to run run RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN!

Before he knew it all logic was quickly beaten down by the power of animalistic fear and found his body was no longer his to control as he full on sprinted away from the border. He only made it to the comfort of a patch of trees before he reigned in his control and slowed himself down before he started walking in circles. Slowly, ever so slowly the fear leaked away and his breathing went back to normal. After a few minutes of slowly walking in a circle he walk to the nearest tree and lightly thunks his head on one. Stupid, he had let himself get caught in a panic attack.

He goes ahead and lays down to rest a bit. He cast his tired gaze over to the barren border and wonders when someone will come by, or if someone is already there secretly watching him. If he could blush his face would be red with shame and embarrassment. He didn’t have panic attacks that much anymore, since he didn’t interact with others enough to work himself up like this. He didn’t know what to do now, he was alone and this calmed him slightly. That slight bit of calm was quickly dashed away as he remembered he still didn’t know where Kassiopeia was. He wondered if she would be mad at him, or on the off chance she might be worried about him.

F U A S T
At which my legs ran frantic like birds from a nest
And I ran until drained, leaving no choice but rest
So I fell asleep softly at the edge of a cave
But I should have gone in deeper but I'm not so brave
