The Heartless Part [PACK MEETING] - " />

Malignant Felicity is a paradisaical abode to the faithful remains of a mighty pack. Once ruled by the magnificent wolf Genocide, now the wolves of this pack follow the laws of the Alpha Lance, son of Sorna, Beta and Genocide's best friend...

The sounds of crashing water fill your auds as you enter this tropical paradise. The tall trunks tower above you. The treetop canopy's seem to shade the beautiful land from the sun's rays. What a paradise this place seems. This place dubbed Malignant Felicity. As you draw closer to the boarders a stench slowly devours the air around you. The stench of death.

"Beware..." scream the birds from above you. "She kills for games. She kills for fun." Something deep inside tells you to listen. Your body tells you not to go no further. Do you listen or do you dare move into the pack borders. This could be a life or death decision...

Follow the Queen, or become a corpse that lines her border. The choice lies with you.

Lay down, the threat is real

There were no words to describe the splitting, aching, and heart numbing pain that had over taken mind, body, and soul. The only thought that ascended through it all was the idea that whoever Lucaya had been was no more. Whatever was left had no name, no history, no knowledge of past. All that was left was some remnant of a personality and a little knowledge of who she was, what she was, Caidir Olc and those who resided in it. Vampire Queen was the only title that remained in her mind, but she needed a title. A signature relating to herself and one that could be used as a form for introducing herself. She could not lose what little normalcy was left in the cavernous vacuum that was her consciousness. She was a vampire. A creature of the night, the shadows, of nightmares, horror stories, and folklore. The moon offered her solace and reprieve from Apollo’s burning rays of golden light. She basked in the soft glimmering moonlight at this moment, her forelimbs crossed in a formal matter and bodice stretched out across the pallid rock jutting out of the ground. This is where she would hold a meeting to call together what was left of her own family and the pack. First though she had to collect herself and pull together the remnants.

Hellish orbs of crimson flames glowed in the faded pale light of the moon. The creatures of the night screeched, howled, and skittered across the grounds, flew through the air, or splashed through the boggy waters. All of this was constant, but it had become white noise against the screaming thoughts that ran through her mind. A name. A title. What shall it be? I am a creature of the dark that only accepts the light of the moon. She pondered this thought among others while she laid there sprawled across the rock. I am Lucyne. The words suddenly spoke from her mouth, just as soon as the silence once more cocooned her. Everything went quiet and her mind had no more to say. It had settled for now and she tasked herself with the duty to call upon her pack and children while she still had the mental strength to endure such things.

Lucyne tilted her obsidian painted crown and howled into the cool night air, a lilting call. The sickeningly sweet tone that had once painted her lyrics was gone. It had been replaced by an intonation of depression but resolved strength. She would find her way once more. She would come to feel at home once more in this boggish mire and deadly paradise she had captured. She only hoped that the sight of her pack would bring a little of her former self forward, enough to carry on until she knew she could stand once more without the crutch of past knowledge. As she waited for them to show, the Queen pulled herself to her paws. Sitting with an air of elegance and pride, her tail curled around her paws. Pools of blood stared out, glowing viciously in the shade of the night as she listened for the sound her children’s heart beats. She pondered quietly wondering if they too would see the difference in character, for there was no denying a change. How could one hide the cracked and splitting persona that was contained in her bodice? She only hoped she could hold up enough of a shield until an heir could take her place. She no longer knew which child was to take her place, posthumously. That would be decided today among other things.
