_________________________________________________________________________ The snow white femme looked to the darker colored teen curiously. She knew that things were different in Blossom now, she knew of Tempests and somewhat knew of their purpose. But Vampires were new to her. Rumors had always been whispered of evil wolves, of cannibals that existed, but before they were only rumors. Occasionally a true cannibal would find its way to Blossom, and one pack was rumored to house them. But Khaleesi had no idea if any of this was true or not. But that was a long time ago, before everything in the lands had changed. Before the magic had been reborn and the wolves had all changed. She knew of Tempests because of Aindreas. He had been different when the two had talked and saw their home transform before their very eyes. He had been the first to tell her about magic, and she was glad that she was not alone when everything happened. She really would have questioned her sanity if she had been alone. But with another wolf there, seeing and experiencing the same things, then she knew it had to be true. But Khaleesi had never been the type to judge another. Even though the word vampire had an evil aire to it, she was not going to assume anything about this femme. Especially when she was so young. She was only a teen, could one really be evil if you were not yet grown? She didn’t mean to look so shocked, but it really was a surprise to her when Diosa said in passing that she was a vampire. But she quickly collected herself and answered the femmes questions, wondering if there was anything she wasn’t suppose to say because she was a vampire. Would AIndreas want her to know that there were Tempests living in his pack? This was all still new to her, and she was afraid of saying the wrong thing, so she decided to not overshare anything for now. But she also didn’t think she would lie either if Diosa specifically asked her. She wasn’t sure how vampires came to be, were they born like any other pup? Or did something have to happen to them like with Aindreas? So she wasn’t sure if Diosa had siblings here, and if so if they too were vampires or not. Khaleesi was realizing how little about the world she now knew and how much she would need to learn. The younger femme’s plume wagged, and Khaleesi returned the smile that she shared as well, happy to hear about Diosa’s pack. A sad sort of smile appeared on Khaleesi’s features when she apologized about her mother and brother leaving. She gave a small shake of her head with a smile, knowing that her mother had left for good reasons, but she still did wonder about her brother. But she gave a small chuckle when Diosa said “blood family”. Neither of them had been related to her by blood, but that had never mattered with their family. ”Thank you, Diosa. My mother is a healer, like me, so she had her reasons for leaving. Funny enough none of us were actually blood related. Hellene adopted me and Destan as pups, though me and my brother were not blood siblings.” The teen went on to tell her about her family, and Khaleesi discovered that she was conversing with the daughter of the alphess. She wondered what all those pups had encountered that they needed to be saved and turned, but she felt it inappropriate to ask such a personal question. Her opinion on vampires seemed to have been wrong from Diosa’s words. It sounded like Lucaya loved her young like any mother did, vampire or not. And there was nothing off putting or scary about Diosa. So why did her kind have such a bad reputation? The snowy white femme focused back on the other femme’s words as she was asked more questions once more. :What’s it like in your pack? What kind of wolves live there? Do you have any ranks or positions in the pack? What do you do in the pack?” Khaleesi gave her another smile at her curiosity, as she went in to answer the questions. ”Well we do have ranks in Dierne Hrof. Everything is a little different right now though. Ever since I was a pup we had an alpha named Kalgalath, but he had to return to his home pack and so his son, Aindreas took over. So our ranking system is still being…figured out shall we say? But I have confidence that Aindreas will be as good as his father and things will smooth out soon.” She paused a moment before continuing. ”I am the healer in the pack now that my mother is gone. She taught me all that I know. We don’t have vampires in our pack, but Aindreas and his half brother and half sister are both Tempests. His half sister doesn’t always live with us, but she comes and goes.” She watched Diosa’s reaction carefully, hoping that it had not been wrong of her to reveal that Aindreas, Vladimir, and Adara were all Tempests. But surely it couldn’t be a secret? As soon as you met them and saw the startling blue orbs they had you could tell there was something…different about them.
