Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Arturio continued to draw nearer as he had called to the stranger, eventually stopping a respectable distance from the other wolf. He inclined his head politely. "Ah, not to bad. Not yet at least," he said. Some way to start a conversation... Talking about the weather. Mentally, he laughed, though not fully knowing the nature of the man before him, best not to jump to an immediate conclusion. His emerald eyes studied him for a moment. Ah, a wolf seeking assistance!

Not that Arturio actively sought out those needing help, but the white brute was always willing to do what he could. He listened to Dirk's introduction and request, nodding a bit. "Name's Arturio; pleasure to meet you, Dirk. Still getting a better feel for this particular area myself. Spent time in the moors and that region before heading towards the southern beaches of another pack, eventually found myself growing familiar with the plains," he said, offering a smile in turn. He cast a glance over his shoulder, back in the direction of Asteraia, whose border was not so far from this small fringe of the Ruieze Fields before looking back to Dirk.

"Were you wanting to know something in particular? Asteraia," he said of the pack he had recently laid claim to, "recently changed paws. You sure it's safe to be lurking so close to their borders not knowing the wolf who leads them now?" In truth, Arturio was not the sort to be mad over such things. After all, he had been such a lurker to Glorall for different reasons, and he did not wish to turn away a wolf who might need a safe place to call home. He did not want to immediately out himself as the new leader of the plains. Not to a stranger at least, for he did not doubt word had already begun to spread of his ascension to the other packs and those who frequented them.
