Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

For now, he is settled. For now, the understanding runs between them. Eden is the ruler here but Thorne would not blindly follow. He would push and test and deduce his own intentions with time. But, for now, they had come to some sort of conclusion.

Eden is not quite what he appears to be to the world. A quiet, dignified ruler, one with little interest in the outside world. Thorne has never thought that of him anyways for who would keep one such as Underidge so close to their hearth if they weren’t of a more cunning stock? Yet the chains of societal expectations would not encumber the obsidian lad. Whatever game Eden was playing was hindered by such things - he was the quiet in the dark, the hush in the night, but Thorne would be the screaming thing that devours, that tears, that creates the hush. A falling meteor intent on destroying and remaking. A creator and scientist full of wicked ideas and with little to hold him down.

Who needed a path when one could burn the world to make one?

Still, there are battles to pick and choose. While he enjoys the battles, the fight for hierarchy, for now he would lapse and let the status quo sit. Now what? What would Eden have him do? A flare of charcoal eyes is given when the alpha pronounced his verdict. So... he wishes Thorne to show Underidge the error of his ways. A slow turn of his ears stops at the next statement and then a slow, wicked little grin pops up onto his silver muzzle, something akin to approval in his eyes. Now Eden was speaking his language. For a moment he lets the silence lapse between them as he ponders and then he stands, slowly. “When I am done, you can call me a Snake Charmer,” he says with another nasty grin. “And I require this: a favor. I have no need of anything from you right this moment but in the future I may have one. Do you accept?”
