Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Remington

The snow continued to fall, alighting upon the guard hairs that kept the moisture from sinking into her skin and protected her body from the chill. Remi could not help the way the softly falling snow distracted her, pulling her focus to the magical feel of it all. The atmosphere was simply divine, and for a moment she forgot to cast her eyes about in search of her brother. Instead she frolicked, her jog shifting into something of a dancing stride as she weaved amongst the falling flakes. So it was a less than straight path that led her onwards towards the banks of the frozen lake.

Thus, she did not immediately notice the figure of another running towards her through the snow. It was only the sudden, seemingly urgent bark on the breeze that pulled her from her entrancement. Her head whipped around to see a wolf galloping through the snow and she froze in place. Remi couldn't help the way her maw dropped open in a soft 'o,' stunned by what she saw. Shaking her head to clear the snow that had accumulated on her eyelashes - thinking maybe it was simply some trick of the snow that had preoccupied her. But then he called out her name - and though his voice had changed a little bit with age, there was no mistaking him for anyone else. "Chester!" she called back excitedly.

Joy bubbled up within her, incredulous that it had been so easy to find him. Though really if he hadn't been paying attention she likely could have danced right over his sleeping form and not noticed her brother during her distraction. None of that mattered though, because here he was! Remi trembled with the thrill of it, and simply could not wait for him to reach her. With an explosion of energy she bound forward through the snow to meet him. As Winchester leapt at her, Remi allowed him to land his paws on her back and then push away, but she followed his movement. Chasing after him, she dipped back and forth with her forelegs slapping at the snow before leaping towards him head on. Her forelegs reached to wrap around her brother's neck from the front, only then truly realizing just how tall he'd grown. Laughing, she fell backwards into the snow, wriggling about happily before bouncing to her feet once more. There wasn't a force in the world that could have controlled the way her tail waved back and forth with the exhilaration of their reunion.

"I'm so happy I found you!" Or, well, he'd found her, but all the same! "It was amazing! The ocean Winchester, it just goes forever. And the northern tundra - I mean if wolves around here think Lumira is tough living they wouldn't stand a chance!" The words tumbled from her in a rush as she stood before her brother. Having a real look at him, she realizing how grown up he was. They had both changed a lot in the time they'd been apart, but their sibling love clearly never would. "Gosh, you must be as tall as Dad, Winchester! How'd that happen?" she laughed. "And what about you? Tell me all about what's been going on!"
