She could read on his face something was up. Disappointment, something. She was not quite sure why he did not want to play. Play was fun yes? Why not? But she seemed to have convinced him and a smile grew on her face as he play bows and wags his tail. He darts out of her reach though when she tries to get him, but she is a persistent little girl!
He moved to the side and then rubbed an ear with his paw, and then pointed at her own. She tilted her head curiously. This was not a play gesture that she knew. She looked up, and then lifted a dark paw to touch her own ear. She knew it was there, but she never thought much of them. She noticed that others moved their ears around, and sometimes they moved them towards others approaching even if they were not seeable yet. She didn’t understand this, she just figured they...knew something she didn’t.
His mouth moves then, and she stares silently as he does so. Did he...want to touch her ear? She blinked a few times with her wide mis-matched eyes. She touched her black ear again that was tipped in a lighter cream. Her eyes fixated on his own ear, apparently tattered. She leaps forward and tries to land her right paw on his shoulder/chest to steady herself so she can tap his own ear in response. She wasn’t quite sure what this was about, but maybe ear tapping was something important?
