During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The brute found himself wondering the lands, the lands in which Artemis brought him to. The lands in which he came to to find her. But now, she was no where to be found, she'd disappeared after that night in her den and it caused the lad to get to the point now where he'd given up. He still stayed in her den, still waited for her. Finally he couldn't wait any longer and was just on his way out when his scent caught his nares. Turning, the brute looked frantically for the source of her scent. Where it came from. As he started to move in the direction of the scent, Justice tasted the air, looked towards the earth below him. And noticed significantly small drops of blood, worry started to fill the brute as he thought of the worst, thought of Artemis being dead or killed and dragged somewhere. The lad picked up his pace, pillars moving faster and faster as he tried to find the end of the trail. It seemed like it took forever when in reality it probably took an hour or a little bit over. The blood however, was not fresh, neither was the scent of Artemis. The boy braced himself for the worst as the scent grew stronger and mingled with new smells. Still concerned, the lad moved swiftly forward, coming to a small covered patch.

Leaning his cranium down to sniff at it, his orbs widened. Pups!!! Carefully uncovering them, he looked down at the four little newborn pups. Then looked up and around him, searching frantically for the mother, for Artemis. As if she was still here, obviously she had since her pups were here. Their pups. His pups. A small huff and then a whimper as he leaned his cranium back down to the newborns and carefully picked one up and turned to retreat back to his den. To Artemis' old den. When he got there, he set the pup down as carefully as he could, turned and then went to get another, repeating the process until all four pups were safe in the den. First he laid away from them, facing them and watching with his cranium between his front paws, as if keeping an eye on them. He couldn't help but to just stare at them. One reminded him a great deal of Artemis coat wise and the demon didn't know if he could do it at first.

When he finally got to his paws, he moved over to the four of them and curled his body around them. He knew they must be hungry but he didn't know what to do for them. He couldn't feed them, and he didn't know of any vixens who had just given birth that weren't already up to their necks in work by keeping track of their own pups, he definitely didn't want to bother anyone with the fact that his mate completely abandoned the pups and him. Not to mention that if he didn't do something soon, he'd probably lose them. They'd die because Artemis abandoned them. Anger started to fill Justice's emotional track, he couldn't control it. Why would she do this?! Abandon pups she wanted?! The brute huffed and curled tighter around the pups. He'd fight for them with his last dying breath if it meant to save them from whatever trouble or harm they might get into. He just hoped they made it passed the pup phase and into teens so he wouldn't have to worry as much about them. But that wasn't true either, he'd always worry. For now though, he just tried his best to keep them warm.
