may you touch dragonflies and stars,
dance with fairies and talk to the moon

Lilliana and Milena had come to the market under strict orders to retrieve groceries for the home. They both were dressed modestly for a pair of young orphan girls and carried separate baskets in opposite hands. Their hair falling over their shoulders in soft brown curls.

Lilliana led the way for the most part, keeping the list in her basket and ocassionally checking it to see what else they needed to grab. Milena on the other hand though was constantly stopping to look at everything else there was and dragging her sister along to look with her. "Milena come on, you know how she gets if we take too long." They both sigh and continue to move on. Taking turns grabbing things, paying for them at different stalls until they had all that they needed.

Just as they had finally gathered all they needed and both their baskets were full, a girl appeared before them. She appeared about the same age as them and instantly it piked both their interest. They hadn't seen many kids around and so they were curious about her, especially so when she held out the fresh roll to them and offered it to them. Milena rushes her a bit too quickly when she notices the eight tiny creatures peering out from the bag slung over her shoulders. "Oh my, Lilliana! Look at them! They are so cute Lilliana quickly rushes after her, "Milena! Seriously!" she chases after her sister.

"I'm sorry for my sister. She gets excited so easily when we come across new things outside the home... But thank you for the roll. Might we offer you something from one of our baskets in return?" She says kindly as she grabs the warm roll with one hand and then offers out her basket with the other. She then taps her sister on the shoulder with the roll in her hand and Milena snaps to. "Yes, of course. Anything at all... Could you tell us about these?" She takes half the roll from her sister's hand and then gestures towards the girls pets. They were so unique, maybe they could all take a break together and get to know them a little more. They would worry about the old lady later on when they return home, for now they had a chance to make a friend outside of themselves.
