Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

”Just ‘Cause You Can’t See It, Doesn’t Mean, It Isn’t There“

_________________________________________________________________________

The life of a pup should be an easy one. Mothers and fathers should be there to take care of you and make sure you never had to worry, not until you were older and on your own anyways. But that was not the case for Bennington or his siblings. He knew that he had a mother, he had the vaguest of memories of her. But she had only been around long enough to feed the pups and wait until their eyes opened and they could somewhat get around on their own. And then she was gone. The young male didn’t really know who she was, he remembered the blurry form of an all white figure, and he knew that he would recognize her scent should he ever come across her again. But really she was a stranger. It took the pups some time to figure out that their mother was gone. She had come and gone in the past, but she had always come back. But after days without seeing her again, and the hungry cries of his sisters in his ears, he knew that they were on their own.

Even though Bennington and his sisters were stuck in this tough situation together, he felt responsible for Catriona and Alasie, and he wanted to take care of them as their mother had. What he had never considered was that their father would find them. But that was exactly what had happened one day when the trio was approached by a large, entirely white, male. For a split second Bennington had thought that it was their mother returning to them at last. But the scent was all wrong, and he really he knew that it wasn’t her. The stranger had been unsure of the pups as the pups were of him, but somehow they all knew that they were family. His father was apparently named Ghost, which made sense with his entirely white pelt. None of the pups were as entirely white as their parents. Bennington’s coat held a lilac shade while his sisters were more white. Alasie was almost all white, but had some darker splotches on her tail and paws, while Catriona was a creamy eggshell white. Bennington’s yellow and ruby tinged orbs looked back and forth between the male and his sisters, seeing the resemblance but difference between them. And that was when his life started a new. He couldn’t entirely go into a carefree life, being warry that his father would leave them as their mother had. But it was easier than when the siblings were on their own.

Normally Bennington would not want to leave his sisters, but since Ghost was there he decided to go out on his own adventure for the day. The family had been living close to a river, there was an easy water source and plenty of food that came through to get to the waters as well. But he decided that he would go out and explore some new lands today. The lilac colored brute did pause before going out to take a drink at the river, the cool water hydrating him before he went out in the warm summer sun. With one last glance to his sisters and father, his legs turned towards the tree, his plume wagging lazily behind him as he went out on his own for the first time. The trees grew thicker and thicker, and it began to block out the sun in some areas even as he went deeper into the woods. Bennington wasn’t sure if this forest would ever end, or if it just went on forever and ever. But eventually he noticed that the trees began to thin out a bit, and there was more brush closer to the ground around the towering trees.

Short limbs continued through the foreign lands as the trees broke away and Bennington found himself in a meadow of sorts. Everything around him was green, or almost everything. There were a lot of flowers around here too, but it was mostly grasses. Some areas the grass was taller than he was, and he ran through it, letting a quiet giggle escape him as he ran about the meadow, diving into the taller grasses and popping back out where it was shorter. More and more flowers grew in the meadow as he walked deeper into it. So far the brute hadn’t noticed the effects that his earlier drink had had on him, but once he ran into another he would feel the full magical effects of the water. He didn’t realize that it was what he had drank that had turned him in this direction, making sure that he would run into a certain female. But for the moment, Bennington enjoyed feeling like a playful pup running through the warm and breezy meadow.
