Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The moment the other girl had lunged for her, Ruby had moved like a snake; she recoiled instantly, her face turned up in disgust as she tore her tail free (with the loss of its hair ignored for now!) and pivoted to face the brown and white girl. She practically hissed, bared her teeth, and slunk back a step. "Disgusting!" She spat for her eyes could see now the strange texture of the other girl's fur and...was it her skin? Something wasn't right. "Crassa!" Because, well, the other was gross. Who behaved in such a way when they could spread their strange fur and skin to somebody like Ruby?

She snorted and turned to the boy then; she puffed her own chest up, mirrored his own arrogance despite the heat in her blood. So young and yet, she had fast become aware of her own agitation thanks to her mother's whirlwind nature. Ruby knew what it felt like to be angry - and to have somebody angry at her. And right now, it was the matter of being both. "Isn't it obvious?" She looked quizzical as she turned her nose up at him, "I'm somebody who will always be better than you. That's who I am!" With that, she pounced forward and towards Zion now with all the intention to grab his ruff with her puppy teeth and shake him silly.
