I needed to be able to get out and do more, but fearing getting in trouble was awful. But then again, dad was always wandering the free lands so that meant I wasn't ever truly alone right? I figured if something bad went down I'd still be able to reach him, should I howl loud enough. Dad would hear, he hears all. I knew with that peace of mind, seeking out fun and exciting things would lead to bigger and better things. I looked towards Dandelion with a grin on my face as she speaks of the Grotto. Ohhh, another place to put on the list to seek out later. She seemed to be braver than I was, exploring so far.
I nodded my head thoughtfully, trying to figure out what was good about these places. Part of me wondered if we needed to pair up with an older pup or two to show us where the fun hang spots were. That'd be great. The idea sounded great in my head, but I don't think I'd be brave enough to go find someone like that. Dandelion looked towards a boulder that was larger than the one I was on, and I nodded.
Bounding down from my flat platform rock, I backed up, letting my lithe legs stretch before I took off with a leap, jumping easily atop the boulder. "What do we want to look for?!" I asked with a smile as I settled on the rock beside her, looking out at the land before us, wondering just what we wanted. Because lets face it, I have no idea!
