Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Safe enough. He could not help but smirk to himself over such a comment; he supposed she was right. Enough. Could anybody ever be completely safe? He wanted to believe it but ah, the world had such a fascinating way of proving such frivolous thoughts as, well, frivolous. But the smirk was quick to hide away in the back of his mind as her eyes sought his out; he'd seen the look before. It was always the look she had before she began to chase an idea too big to chew on. Fire, he'd call it, but fire was always dangerous.

Her words were sharp. Dangerous. They made him chuckle inwardly - ah, so she was still Aster even after she had been chained down by that man. He wanted to really laugh but he understood the repercussion to that - he didn't particularly feel like being bitten again, after all. Instead, he leaned back and simply watched her in silence for several moments as his eyes roamed her face. She wasn't joking. She had really meant to make a such a reque - no, it was hardly a request. Had she meant to make a demand? His brow rose.

"Find him and join his war. Make enemies, Elohim. Risk yourself, your own family, for the blind ambition of a man who never welcomed you." He mused to himself, his lips pulled up into a smile despite the dryness of his words. "Seek not to find another way. Instead, walk the same path as every other fool." He chuckled again and then drew closer to her, his eyes on hers, unwavering even if she sought to lash out at him. "All this time and you did not forget the language of alphas but you need only be honest with me, Aster." She had spoken in such a fierce way, after all, even if everything had been a double entendre. "And I with you."

He took a step back then, defensive in his posture, for he knew he had certainly gone knocking on the door of a storm; she had likely been waiting, no? Waiting to unleash all that fury - her anger was beautiful but it didn't make it any less risky to endure. "I will find other ways. Perhaps others are content merely throwing bodies at a problem in order to solve it but ah, not I. I was born in a snake den, after all." And he wasn't afraid to play with those snakes and to join in on their games.
