Melee stuck her tongue out when Eldrax turned his back and ran off after asking what she was doing and urging her to hurry up. Still, with a final glance over her shoulder for Swifttalon, she didn't waste any more time before charging off in her rolling puppy gait to follow her brother. As she paused at the beautiful sight that greeted her, taking a moment to soak it in, once more Eldrax poked fun at her. "I know that," she retorted, but there was no irritation to her words, just simple amusement at her brother's haste for all things. Splashing into the water alongside him, she giggled happily and was completely consumed in the fun of playing with her brother.

That was, of course, until he got distracted by the snail. Moving over to stand next to him, she suggested they try to be quiet and hide so it would come back out. That was naturally to no avail, as it was quickly becoming apparent that her brother had very little patience. So when he gave up a matter of seconds later, stomping his foot in frustration, she rolled her eyes and giggled. He suggested kicking the tiny creature or putting it into the creek. Mischievous though she was, Melee didn't know or understand what the little animal was, and thought that maybe they might accidentally hurt it or end up drowning it. So instead, she sought to distract her brother and give him something else to fixate on - allowing the snail to escape unscathed.

Jade eyes scanned the area, quickly locking onto a squirrel sitting under a nearby tree. "Better yet!" She bumped her shoulder against Eldrax's and motioned towards the squirrel. "C'mon!" and just like that it was her taking the lead, jumping out of the creek and running pell-mell towards the squirrel. High pitched puppy barks erupted from her, and the squirrel immediately took off. Of course she had absolutely no idea how to hunt, and that wasn't really what she had in mind anyways. Chasing it for the fun of simply chasing it was all she had wanted. Rather than easily evade the puppies by climbing the nearest tree, the squirrel scurried away, allowing the pups a fun pursuit that they had pretty much no chance of winning.
