Danny glowered at Cypress, but she was too busy looking at Thoth to notice. It was insane the way Thoth hadn't even noticed her feelings yet; Danny - and most other fairies, for that matter - just had to take one look at that dopey, smitten expression she always wore when she was in his vicinity (and/or was mentioned, or she thought about him, or when she was writing him a letter) to know exactly what was going on in that head of hers. Still, he knew Destra pride was not something to be trifled with, Olive - sweet, flirty Olive - had nearly bitten his head off when he'd offered to take up some shifts, free of cost, at the inn to help her out, so he supposed he'd gotten off easy this time.

A small frown formed on Cypress' face as she turned over her own thoughts, a moment of silence falling over the group. She was absently fiddling with Thoth's sleeve, barely aware she was touching him, as she tried to decide how to broach the subject of a trip with Thoth and Tris - a trip alone - to Jac and Olive. Oli would probably be substantially easier to convince than Jacopo, but it wasn't as if anything was going to happen between the two of them anyways. Thoth was still miles away from even figuring out how she felt about him, let alone doing... other stuff. Her eyes slid to his lips of their own accord, and she bit her own lower lip. What was kissing like, anyways?

She startled a bit, her expression so blatantly guilty Danny didn't even have to try and guess what she'd been thinking about, when Thoth suddenly spoke. Cypress melted - visibly - as his words sunk in. She couldn't resist it - she threw her arms around Thoth in a hug.

"T-Thoth," Danny squeaked. "Y-you can't just give away something like that! Cypress!"

"You don't know how much it means to me that you'd offer, Thoth, but Danny's right; I couldn't possibly accept something like that. But..." she released him, blushing quite obviously, and fidgeted a little. "But do you think, maybe, I could... you know, come to you for advice and stuff, when I'm ready? I'd feel... a lot better about it all, if you'd help me out like that."
