Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Forrest
zero - lost - orphan

All Forrest could think about now was that this young lady must surely be here to bring him to his parents, and a smile grew across his features. They should go now! He was about to walk out closer to her when he remembered once more his mother's order to stay put, to wait for her in the log and his ears flitted backwards in a moment of confusion. Was she coming back to get him, or was this lady going to bring him to her? He peered up at her as she lifted her head high, looking around the woods for a moment before her nose lowered right down to him and she took a good whiff of his scent. He couldn't help but giggle - the way his fur shifted as she sniffed at him tickled! She then laid down in front of him, and his head cocked to the side curiously.

The gentle nudge of her nose into his soft little body was comforting, the simple touch of another a soothing balm to the lone pup. She asked when he'd last seen his mother, and his ears perked forward again. "Last night. She sounded different. But Mother told me to stay here. Stay here, and wait for her." He peered off into the forest behind the warm hued shewolf, once more looking for either of his parents. "She said she was comin back for me." His words were rounded with the pattern of childhood speech, his voice not yet as clear as it would become in the months ahead as he continued to grow.

Forrest looked back to the girl who lay before him, looking into her pretty opal eyes when she introduced herself and asked him what his name was. Magpie's eyes were unlike anything he'd ever seen! A look of wonder filled his own simple amber eyes, and he merely stared back at her for a moment before remembering that she'd asked him question. It was rude to leave a question unanswered. "Forrest, my names Forrest," he answered, his tail wiggling behind him once more, even as his stomach grumbled more loudly than before at its empty state.
