Kajika narrowed his cerulean eyes every so slightly. Before, he had been following Sekhmet. There was a need to silence and stealth. Home didn't require such a thing. His ears turned back slightly. There was no missing the Pharaoh's approach with her favoring her injured limb at times. But, she was on the mend, so he did not worry. "Even a mouse can kill a complacent snake," he said in his naturally quiet tenors. It was not a threat. Merely a warning that Kajika would not abide by Blackthorne betraying his Pharaoh in any way, or he would do something about it.
His tail swayed every so slightly when Sekhmet arrived. While the touch wasn't something he might have preferred, Kajika did not deny the wash of comfort as he tongue left his fur. Still, the brindle and white boy did not trust Blackthorne, or his silverknife. He remained in place as the two leaders exchanged... he guessed pleasantries was the word. His gaze drifted to Natiya as she approached. Silverknife indeed... Was that for her color, or perhaps that she was a tool for him to use.
Kajika maintained a rather calm demeanor. A hunter to the core even at a young age. A subtle reaction here or there, the wrong twitch of a muscle alerted your prey to much. Instead, he returned the smile. He knew the falseness of Blackthorne's. Let him see Kajika's own. Yes, he would be watching. Maybe not the black male himself, but to observe the tool he had brought with him. "I will catch up," he said, moving away from Sekhmet slightly as Natiya moved away with her dismissal.
Kajika moved around the pond towards the silverknife. Let the Apep and the Nameless One speak without his presence. Much could be learned from observing a tool in regards to its wielder. Indeed, today he would learn that, and leave them to their moving through the pack. He didn't like the idea of Blackthorne seeing so much of Asteraia, but he deferred that decision to the Pharaoh. So, he settled a few feet to Natiya's right. "You deign only to be a tool?" he inquired of the silver female, though his bright eyes never left Apep and Pharaoh on the other side.
