Ripper found little interest in the way her words twisted, perhaps trying to pull more from him about the former leader. Alpha, King, perhaps it was all the same. No matter the title, he no longer held it. But if she thought that Arturio had not behaved as a King, she would perhaps find Sekhmet's rule even more lacking in the royalty department. But it was not Ripper's place to give away information about how his sister reigned over these lands, these wolves. It was his job to gather information from those within and without that would help her to achieve her goals.
A single brow rose at her comment about him having returned to these lands.
He'd not yet grown bored of the grey woman before him, however. Her words seemed to coil and cling, unwilling to give him anything of real interest. Little did he know that she played the same role for her pack as he did for his. It would be difficult for two informants to make any headway in their duties, each careful to dance circles around the truth. Or in Ripper's case, simply not move to reveal any of them.
