During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

I don’t want to waste any words explaining how I feel about you because I feel that they are not sufficient. You mean the world to me, without you, I am completely and utterly incomplete. It is as if without you, my soul would split in twain, torn into shreds. If I have any chance at happiness in this world, no matter what happens in the future or what has happened in the past, I need you in it. I love you. Will you be mine?

He had practiced the speech a myriad of times, fine-tuning it until it was exactly what he needed it to be. It was a declaration of his love for Kirastasia, and a request for her to be his forever. Despite the fact that he had tracked her down, stayed with her through her birthing, and had tried to being with her every step of the way, she still seemed to be holding back when it came to him. Drizzt wasn’t sure if it was something that he was doing, or rather not doing, and wanted to set at about amending it. If she had had doubts about his emotions when it came to her, she would not have any doubts now. All he had to do now was find her, her and their pups. He had spent most days with her, but had not wanted to crowd her. But the more time he spent away from her, the more he had come to realize that he did not want to be apart from her. Of course, to complicate things, he had still not been accepted into the pack fully. He had not met the Alpha, nor, come to think of it, did he even know her name. But as he heard a call for a pack meeting, he knew that today was the day - both for him to meet the Alpha and be accepted in the pack. And, if he was lucky, to officially become Kirastasia’s mate.

With a little pep in his step, he sprinted out of his den, so close to Kirastasia’s own. At a fast paced trot, he headed toward her own, and peeked inside, hoping to see his family. If Kira and their pups had been in there, he would have smiled at them and bade that they come with him so that he could escort them to the pack meeting. But that was not his luck, and a frown settled upon his face. He would head toward the pack meeting nonetheless, though now he was focusing upon Kira and the pups more than he was on the pack meeting... originally his plan had been to work on making a good impression on the Alphess so that she should would have no reason to decline Drizzt membership. He knew that she had not left this land, and there was no reason to think that she would not attend. His stride was perhaps a bit more slowed now, but soon enough, he reached the area where the pack meeting was to occur. He saw that he was not the first to attend, and really, he was not surprised. But he was surprised that there were not more wolves here before him - after all, he had stopped by Kirastasia‘s den before coming here, so the only thing that would make sense would be at the others perhaps lived further away. His gaze moved to the female sitting off to the side, and he dipped his head to her as he approached the Alphess, but his gaze on her.. yes, her name had been Kahlan... his gaze on Kahlan was fleeting. It was upon Kirastasia that it lingered, and he passed close enough by her to nuzzle her shoulder, wishing that they were alone so that he could speak his monologue to her. But his confession of love would have to wait, and he regretfully pulled his optics from on her, and pulled his body away from hers in order to approach the Alphess. To the Alphess herself, he bowed, his left leg shooting out and his right leg sweeping beneath him so that he could dip into a respectable lean. He stayed there for a moment before rising, and even then, his electric pools stayed upon her paws.

My name is Drizzt, Son of Aindreas and Hocus Pocus. I am a member of the Oferwederen, and I am a friend of Kirastasia’s. I have been living within these lands for the past few months now without your grace. I wish to beg your forgiveness and ask for full acceptance into your pack. I shall honor and protect it with my life should you accept me.

He retreated and only then turned his attention to his offspring, nuzzling each of them affectionately before settling next to them.
