Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

strong in silence

Something akin to a feline purr sparked in her chest as he returned her touch, pleased as ever. Eden was a powerful man, a fact that only grew more evident the more she was able to get to know the small idiosyncrasies about him. That he chose her only had her pride blossoming, though she wasn’t beyond testing the limits of how much he would allow her. So far she had been successful, a fact only made more apparent as his golden eyes met her own. She smirked at his first comment, still rather amused at the turn things had taken as her newest children entered the world. It was something she had been considering for a time before, but they had made that decision for her.

His second comment had her smirk growing enough that white teeth shone ever so slightly from behind her dark lips. Her gaze remained steady on him, allowing what silence there was between them to stretch longer and more poignant for the sheer thrill of making him wait before she chuffed and odd kind of laugh and nodded slightly. In truth she had no intentions of leaving his den even before he had posed his question. She was comfortable there with their children, and more than anything she was pleased with how it had altered her relationship with Eden.

They were both rather secretive and quiet beings, her more on account of her inability to speak, but Eden had his walls and shadows in which he hid. However change had come as she had claimed more and more of him for herself, whether he knew it or not. She felt closer to him now, bolder in his presence as evidenced by her touching him so nonchalantly. It was a good change, and for the first time she found herself nervously hoping he felt the same. However the questions and ability to ask them were left up to him, as always, and so she waited patiently relishing the warmth of his side pressed against her own.
