PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

let me be brave

Oswin was waiting.

There was an undeniable connection, mostly physical, between herself and the notable bachelor stallion Ernesto. She’d loathed him when he’d initially challenged the Peak, fought her, and won. Yet her subsequent stay (and his initial willingness to play nice) warmed her up a bit more toward him. It was enough that when next their paths crossed and she was in early heat, Oswin couldn’t deny the way she’d liked how their bodies worked. Again and again, each time they were healed from their prior bruises, she’d egged him into a fight and clashed and learned and failed… and succeeded.

Their moonlit tryst was inevitable and a produce of everything falling into place at exactly the right time.

Yet this was not why she was thankful it was Ernesto coming to the Peak and not Cullen. It may have been good to bring the new boss to her turf where she could study him, but Oswin didn’t trust him within the Peak. Oswin trusted Ernesto. If she could pick his brain to learn about this new foolish Lagoon boss perhaps she’d better understand where the enemy line drawn between the Lagoon and the Peak began… and who it was standing on either side.

Oswin moved toward him once he’d stopped, narrowing her eyes immediately as if waiting for whatever smart comment would fall from his mouth. Still, she couldn’t help the smirk that crawled over her mouth, nor could she stop herself from lifting her chin and flagging her tail out behind her, moving toward him in an obvious show of bravado.

“So now the tables are turned,” she said, smile growing. “Now you’re my captive.”

oswin
this is as brave as I know how to be.
I know it’s gonna hurt you, but please… be a little proud of me.
