Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

”I Can Bleed if I Want to Bleed; ”I Can Feel if I Feel the Need

_________________________________________________________________________

Life had not truly begun yet for the young pup. Her world had changed once so far, but after that there had been nothing new or dramatic. Her world had begun small, warm and safe. She didn’t know that there was so much more to the world that she had not yet discovered. But with time her world grew smaller and smaller, and she felt cramped and smooshed with all her siblings. They had outgrown their time within their mother’s womb and had been thrust into the real world. The birth had been more dramatic than they knew at the time, not being able to grasp what was actually going on around them. All the young femme knew was that she was now cold and hungry, and she cried out, instinctively searching for food. The first night in the world had been an active one. Missandei didn’t realize that her mother was dying, and their father had kept the pups safe while a stranger came into their lives to save Macaria. But none of this was known to the pups as they whimpered and searched for food. After some time they all had their fill and slept easily.

And that was all that Missandei’s life was now. She would wake and be hungry, and search out for her mother’s milk. Then she would feed and grow sleepy again. It seemed to be a never ending cycle of eating and sleeping. But as time went on and her body grew and matured, she began to be more aware of her world. She could feel for her parents and siblings, but she had not yet seen or heard them, but she knew they were there. But the time had finally come where Missandei and her siblings were old enough to really be introduced to the world. Their eyes and ears were opening up, and so far it was the most exciting day that the femme had experienced. She couldn’t see her own eyes, but she they were the same bright orange that Macaria’s had been before she had turned into a vampire but they were speckled with the yellow color that Grey Wind had. And then the femme heard sounds for the first time, and it was her mother’s voice. "Wake up my darlings, all of you. The moon is high in the sky, and our time is drawing near."

Her small head turned left and right, taking in all the new sounds that she had yet to hear in the past. Eyes began to adjust to the den that they were in. At first it was still all dark, but slowly came into focus. It was all blurry shapes and colors at first, but then her mother’s form became more distinct. As her head turned to the sides she saw the form of her three siblings. She knew they all existed, but seeing them was different. Her sister, Kiora, was the first to act on their new world, and she clumsily began walking over Macaria towards the entrance to the den. Missandei looked about her once more, noticing that the world was less blurry the longer that she was alert. Things came into focus more, and sounds were more intense. She decided to follow her sister, and shakily got to her own paws, and began walking towards Kiora. She stumbled a bit when she walked over her mother, falling back to the earth but she got right back up and kept going. It would take time for her to get used to walking now that she could see and hear and start exploring. When she reached her sister, she sat down, looking up to the moon that their mother had been talking about. Was it finally time for them to go out and meet the rest of the world? And then Missandei spoke for the first time, the sound of her voice foreign and new. ”Are we going out there?” There was not fear in her voice, but curiosity. She didn’t quite yet grasp how big the world was, and how much there was for her to learn about and explore.
