Remi felt as if history was almost repeating itself; what with the way he started at her greeting and seemed unsure about how to respond. It was a lot like the day when they'd first met as pups. Time might have changed a lot about the couple of three year olds' bodies, but it seemed that their personalities had not shifted so much. The frenetic young girl didn't think any less of Noctis just because he wasn't as outwardly exuberant at their reunion as she was. His tail was waving back and forth and he remembered her name, and that was enough to please her. After all, she did not think quiet so deeply on all matters as he might, to consider that he might not have been glad to be reunited with a wolf he'd only met once before in his puphood. To Remi, Noctis was a friend, and to see a friend again after so long was a happy thing.

Her maw split into a grin at his compliment, hardly considering if there was any underlying meaning to it. Sure, she'd found him to be attractive, and maybe he thought she looked pretty too, but she'd never experienced anything remotely close to being courted (or at least not that she'd realized), so these were simply compliments made between two friends who had not seen one another in some time. "Thank you!" She'd inherited many traits from her lighthearted parents, and politeness was not the least among them. And when he told her that he was part of the pack and could take her in, it only served to make her smile grow wider. "Awesome!" she exclaimed, taking a few bouncing steps towards him, excited to get moving again and actually go somewhere. Even though it was part of Moladion, it was a part of these lands she'd not yet explored, and the opportunity to get close to the ocean made her heart soar. "Perfect - let's go!"

Falling into stride alongside Noctis, she glanced sideways at him. He seemed so official about the way he did things, and Remi couldn't resist the temptation of moving to nudge her shoulder into his. She was built much lighter than him, and didn't do it with the intention to knock him off balance - just to get his attention so she could flash him a smile that spoke to the fun that they could have together. Fun, like they'd had romping about in the lake. If memory served, it had taken him a bit to loosen up then as well.

Shortly thereafter he drew to halt, and as Remi pulled up next to him her attention was taken wholly by the vast expanse of the sea. She lifted her nose into the breeze that came up over the high cliffs, carrying the scent of the ocean to them. Inhaling deeply of it, she edged forward so that her toes clung to the very edge of the precipice. Icy blue eyes gazed out towards the horizon, drinking in the endless expanse of water that stretched on forever. For the first time all day she stood almost perfectly still, just soaking it all in. The majesty of it all seemed to have some kind of power over her, but truly it was a beautiful reminder of just how small she was in this world. Remi loved everything about the sea, having been enraptured with it from the first time she'd learned what the glint of the waves under a sunny sky was in her youth.

A single ear turned towards Noctis when he asked her if this was what she'd been looking for, and she stepped back from the ledge to turn partially towards him. "Yes, thank you for bringing me, Noctis. It must be nice to wake up to a view like this every day. I haven't gotten to be near the ocean since coming back to Moladion. One of you guys should really give up a bit of nice warm beach for everyone to use, you know," she said jokingly, grinning at him. It wasn't up to him, of course, but maybe if his pack trusted him to escort visitors through the pack lands he could also convince them to make part of their beach public! Some of Remi's favorite days of travel had been when she'd stuck to the coastline, waking up every morning to the call of gulls and curling up each night with the crashing waves lulling her to sleep. She would love to have that again, but she just couldn't imagine rooting herself down in a pack. Her gaze flitted around, searching for a path that would lead down to the beach. Sure, it was lovely to look at the ocean from on high, but nothing beat racing the tide or splashing in the surf. "How do we get down?" she asked - not if, for surely a wolf would not spend all their life so close to such a wondrous thing and not fully experience it...right?
