Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Obsidian, Ruby, and Lillith- the Demons that haunt me
I will be heard...and so will they

Dirk’s reaction to Obsidian was an odd one to me, and yet it is what it is. I look down to the young pup whose face is fierce towards the stranger. Was he protecting me? Or protecting himself by protecting me? I can hear his growl of a laughter in my head. He says that he needs me alive for now. My lips twitch at at this.

”Good...Obsidian...good...no,” I say in a mumble as my red-touched black face looks back up to Dirk, wishing Obsidian would just leave me alone. But he will never leave me alone, not really, not truely. Dirk seemed unphased by Obsidian though as he comes forward to nose my left ear. It is accepted even though my eyes go back to Obsidian as he growls.

”Hush you,” I say firmly. ”Hush hush hush,” I say as Obsidian’s growl intensifies, but then lowers into nothingness due to my words and stern yellow eyes. ”Mine,” I say roughly to Obsidian, making it known that Dirk is not to be touched or bothered by him. The young boy does not seem to react at first, but he backs down a bit into a sit...but be damned if he was moving and not going to stare intensely at Dirk the whole time.

However, Dirk did not belong here. Not in Glorall, not this place, not with Eden here. It was not a good place for anyone to be, but I was here because I was here. At one point, I thought Solaris would come back, but he never came back. Just as everyone else never came back. I was able to find their bones though. Will I find his bones one day?

”Eden, no good, he is no good, you do not belong, no, not around him, no, not this place, not good,” I repeat, pulling away slightly in my serious on how he should not be here. I did not view it as good or safe for him. ”I am here because I am here, you don’t need it, no...no no no,” I say, moving forward to nudge his shoulder roughly. ”Don’t let his lies get to you, his tongue is a snake,” I say with one last nudge. ”Dirk doesn’t need to be bitten by snakes,” I say, my eyes narrowed and nose wrinkled..but with the best of intentions.
