Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

this is the end

The more he heard about the drama going on between the packs, the more he liked the fact that he was staying out of it by remaining a loner with his family. He wondered the more that Lucia wandered off if she wouldn't be happy as one for much longer but at least he knew Malleah would always be at his side because she wanted this life for them. She wanted nothing to do with packs and he didn't blame her. He'd never gotten anything but pain from them himself so why bother? Plus being in that proximity with other wolves might just trigger bad habits. He was already bad in a crowd by nature and then his training made him more paranoid of large groups. He'd hate to end up like his father and attack someone by accident. No, the life of a loner was much better for him.

He knew it wasn't safe to be a loner. There were predators and other wolves who preyed on those who didn't have the safety of a pack. But he was still young enough to protect his family from harm. He had all that training behind him and when that wouldn't work, surely his rage temper would get the job done. There was no damage control once he saw red. Azure used to love that skill. She liked to trigger it as much as possible just to see the chaos he could start. He hated that part of him though. He hated not feeling like he was in control, being helpless to his instincts. He felt like a loose cannon when it happened and he didn't want Malleah or Lucia to see that side of him.

He knew from the moment that he saw the wolf that she was from the assassin group he ran with. He couldn't recall her name but then most of them blended together in his mind because he laid low. Plus Azure didn't like him chatting with the other females. She was mad possessive and jealous. The female before him gave a coy smile and he tensed, but something in her demeanor didn't speak of hostility. She only looked like she was in a teasing mood today. She mentioned Azure and his eyes narrowed in confirmation. She was using a seductive tone but it only put him further on his guard. It was different when Malleah used her female wiles on him. He learned quickly that female assassins rely on it to lure their prey and he wasn't falling for it.

Then she said that she left Azure and his brow rose in curiosity. Why would she leave? Most of them knew if they chose to leave, they wouldn't be leaving but in a body bag and she would hunt them down till the end of days cause they knew too many secrets. It was all in the initiation when they signed up. He knew he was a refugee for the rest of his life but he didn't think many assassins chose that fate. She asked after his own escape and his lip twitched. He didn't really want to talk about it. She was definitely observant to know how close him and Azure were, or rather, how close Azure made sure she was to him. He snorted when she called him a mouse. "Well this mouse knows the right holes to slink through. She's here though, just so you know. She tracked me down. She could be here for you too. Two birds, one stone." He shrugged lightly as if it was no big deal, his eyes watching her cautiously.
