give up your heart, surrender, 'cause I am the hunter

The fairy before him was certianly in pretty bad shape. The sickening scent of blood and petrol was a stark difference from the smells of his garden and someone with a weaker stomach would have most likely been vomiting in the nearest trash can. Osiris was well trained in medicine though and over his years of travel he had seen and smelled worse than this. With that being said, the case before him was pretty dire if the trails of blood and oil scattered around his workshop belonged to the mess of a man. He was fairly certain that it was only because of very strong magic that he was even breathing and making his groans of...was that annoyance he detected in the man's moaning?

He set down his vials and tools, his eyes glancing over the mangled body before him. Just what the hell had this guy gotten into a fight with? He was pretty sure he could still make out pieces of shiny metal protruding from some of the wounds. Shaking off the questions, he focused instead on his attack plan. His thoughts were broken by a large purr coming from the cat as she stepped off the counter, landing with a gentle thud beside him. His hands had already begun to work some of the herbs into a past of sorts, pausing only for a moment as his eyes turned in her direction. He offers her a gentle nod as he works, the name she speaks not yet registering. "You are welcome. I will do what I can to help him along. Hopefully we can get him back on his feet in just a few short moments. Two healing abilities are better than one." He offers her a small smile before a hoarse voice cuts in.

He turns to the man and can't help the smirk that comes upon his face. "Look man, if I were you I would save the fucks for a pretty face and a hot body." He gives a slight shrug of his shoulders before he grabs some of his tools, moving to pull out a rather large piece of metal from a large gash on the man's thigh. He takes some of the paste he created and applies some to the wound, imbuing it with some of his healing magic."This is going to sting, just so you know." He offers nonchalantly. He feels the light paw upon his knee and offers the cat a knowing look and a slight grin. "Really, it's fine. I've been treated a lot worse. In fact, I..."

It's then that the name she had spoken early hits him full force, like a train barreling into him. He drops the piece of metal in his hand to the floor as his eyes widen in his surprise. It takes him a good minute before his eyes turn back towards Sperantia.

"Forgive me, but...did you say Mallos? Like, THE Mallos?" He casts a look towards the man before turning his gaze back to the cat. This was the Original Mallos? The Mallos who was his father? He had often shot a little prayer towards the sky, asking that one day he would have this chance. He never thought their first meeting would be...this. His father broken and bleeding all over his home while they traded annoyed jabs. He had pictured it more as exchanging playful jokes over beers, oogling over women, hell, even throwing a damn ball or something. Not watching the man bleed to death as he spewed out witty recourse. He finds himself in a place he rarely comes, a place where he is at a total loss.

His eyes close for a brief second as he takes a deep breath, attempting to find his center in the chaos of emotions that swell within him. Finally his eyes open back up and he looks towards the man. "There is so much I need to say to you...but right now, let's get you patched back up." He knows that Mallos has no idea what he is talking about and to be honest, right now, he doesn't care. His hands move back over the man, working on removing metal shards and using his magic and paste to expedite the healing.
