He'd never seen anything quite like the bird perched on the wolf's shoulder like for all the world, it belonged there. He swore it was even grooming the wolf when he first came upon them but both were quick to look his way. He couldn't help but glance up toward the trees, wondering if he could ever tame a bird enough to come sit on his shoulder too. That sounded so cool! He didn't know a lot of his extended family but he was noticing that a lot of the wolves in Spirane had the same gray and silver coats. Of course, that could just be the wolves around here in general. Maybe gray wolves just were drawn to Spirane. He'd been seeing wolves like this one around his own den recently because of Melee being sick. He hated seeing his sister so down. But he knew that she was feeling better and he knew it had to do with the wolves like this one, the healers. He wanted to know about stuff like that too so he could help his family if anything happened. He'd never caught her name but today that would change. When he asked about the bird, the wolf laughed but the bird didn't seem so amused. It literally clicked its beak at him. He jerked his head back, ears flicking back in uncertainty before the wolf scolded it in a way by nudging it and giving it a look. Eldrax tilted his head. "Does it actually understand you? Does it have a name?" He wagged his tail in curiosity, eyes bright and alert. The wolf got his attention though cause she knew his name! His ears jerked forward and he narrowed his eyes a little. He was about to ask how she knew his name but then she made all right with the world by giving him her name. She even told him her bird's name! The next words were very big though and complicated. He tilted his head again. "Spiritual guide? What's that?" His gaze moved to the bird as it made another sound toward him. It seemed more friendly now. He grinned. "Nice to meet you too, Kutcha." Moonfeather said he might be getting a one on one lesson and he beamed at her, taking a seat. "Oh, yay, sounds fun!" He leaned forward a little, eager to listen as she asked if he'd learned any healing. He shook his head. "No, not that I know of." He shrugged. His eyes grew wide though as something hit him. "Mom sometimes licks my wounds and they sorta feel better. Does that count?"
