Zelda could tell that perhaps she had confused the younger girl a little, but she was sure that someday she might understand what she meant. After all it was true, everyone taught everyone else something in one way or another. Each wolf met was another experience, but still life lessons came from all sorts of experiences too. So while Zelda might not have been his teacher exactly she still was certain he had picked up much from her in their meetings, even if it did frustrate him now and then that she wasn’t letting him progress as he would have liked. She pondered this for a moment after she explained it to Citlalli though, and when she asked what Zelda had learned from Citlalli she smiled and replied, ”That I can’t protect you all forever, and I should put my faith in you.”

Her tail waved lightly at that still smiling by the end of it. Zelda was still young too after all, she still had much to learn about being the Guardian of Taviora, about life and all that was out there as well. Still she wanted them to be happy, safe and not worry about all that was out there, that she had to worry. She wanted to take in all their fears, concerns and anger into herself and allow those in the forest to simply be happy. She was starting to also feel the break down of that though, not relying on those around her enough. Zelda nodded though when Citlalli said she understood, her smile still on her maw. She was grateful and happy that Citlalli understood that he likely wasn’t doing it out of anything bad. She was still young, but she wasn’t far away from being a young adult and no longer a pup, it was time to start trusting her, all of them with more.

That came to the next point, as Zelda told the girl watching her look of shock as she told her she thought she would be a wonderful power. ”I would be honored to have you, I know you have so much potential.” She started though she supposed that would mean she would need to have her be trained more diligently by Teza or, better yet, send them both off to another land. Neither were particularly pugnacious, but they were protective, making them fine warriors for Zelda. Wolves who fought first, ask questions later were not something she wanted as her Power, but Citlalli seemed like she was going to be amazing. She pondered this for a second before nodding, mostly to herself.

”Yes, I am going to have you and Teza both go to either Diveen or Spirane and meet a warrior of there and train. Teza will work with you when the other warrior is too busy, and also observe your lessons. After you trained there for a while you can talk to Teza and see what he has say about what you might still be able to learn, or do to even further improve yourself, but I think you will do wonderful.” She smiled touching her cousin on the brow with her nose. ”I know you won’t let me down.” She assured the girl, though even if it proved to much Zelda still wouldn’t be disappointed in her. ”It’s up to you to pick where you would like though, I’m not sure what either pack has to offer, but I think it would be good to also further our ties with either one.”
