Fire. It was pumping through his veins at the thought of these monsters touching a single strand of fur on his daughter's head. And he didn't care whose bad side he got on; he would protect her with his last breath. The same way he'd protect Syèl, should the need arise. He felt like every nerve ending was firing at the same time, his skin nearly vibrated with the urge to hurt someone. This was getting ridiculous.
Just when he thought things couldn't get worse, another male joined into the fray. Just fucking wonderful. He groaned, a rumbling sound mixing with his ever-present growl. The words spoken caused him to push Reine further back behind him, feeling her weight against his hip, knowing she was safe as long as he felt her against him. "Oh, no one will be getting a time out." His voice rattled before he looked back sharply at Reine, knowing Syèl was there, and knowing she was in a bad mood, but whatever this was, he was not letting his child in the middle of it. "M 'zanj, kouri lakay yo nan tonton. Mwen pral lakay ou le pli vit ke mwen kapab." He rushed, eyeing his child and the way they had come, knowing her long legs would eat the distance up.
She nodded her head, taking a moment to gather her breath, before she spun on a dime running for all she was worth out past the border, her long legs eating up the distance back home to Cadeyrn & Berwyn, knowing in her heart her uncles would keep her safe for the time being.
Robichaux turned back towards the other three, a glare on his face. "Now that you can't threaten my child...Where were we?" As Reine had not been the one stolen, they could not make her. Besides, her young lanky body made fast work of running, he felt it in his gut that she was out of danger, even if it was just for now. He let his face fall from his anger for just a moment, knowing that he now had to keep Syèl safe, should she need his help.
Her words directed at the males was something he did not expect, but then again, he was finding he knew next to nothing about his imprint--funny right? They were bound for life yet they knew zip about one another. Terrific start. He kept his maw shut--he knew when it was not his turn to talk.
